He got me those royal jelly gift set, project d gift set , sanctuary set, some jap? Dolls wash bag, kiss me something gift set, lots of organic? Gift set, to be honest things that I dun really want ( I was actually hoping for a few gu choccie set or any food set rather than stuff that just gonna end up in the loft, totally unwise especially in this economic climate, whereby anybody can lose their job any second, have u guys heard about pumpkin patch !)

He had to drop ds at his mum then get to town thus by the time he got there's I suspect mist good things , I.e. fcuk, Joules, Ted baker has gone. The way he describe the ladies around him was quite funny. He told me SAs were hiding in the stock room and people were banging on the door asking if there's any more coming out!

Btw this is at Newcastle Eldon square
  • Went last week hoping 75% sale was on but a wasted journey really. Couldn't go today as was looking after grandchildren but after looking at stock last week I know there was not anything I really needed so feeling quite good that I didn't get sucked in today. Well done to everyone who got what they wanted. Could not deal with all that trolley rage and greedy people though.

i got a santury orange bag for 6.25, so presume it must have been originally £25. there was no labellingon it but the SA looked in the boots xmas book and discounted it down. however, it seemed to sealed with a plastic tag but when i opened it at home only 3 items in and a bit packaging. cant believe it would have been £25 and wonder if something was missing. can any one advise how i can find out if stuff is actually missing from it?

You might think that is seemed a big case for the things BUT there was a set with only three items....a bodywash, a bath soak and body cream (so two bottles and a small jar).

It is from their more luxurious range which is more high end e.g. the jar of cream is over £10 on its own - the bath stuff about £8 or £9 each. So over £25 before you add the case in.

The items have wavy lines on them and the ingredients are a bit more sophisticated.

Defo worth £6.25 :) The case was nicely lined with two zipped sections. But I agree it "looked" like an item or two was missing until you work it out that it is all legitimate.

3 items and vanity case working out at £1.56 each :)

Saw one woman buy 4 of these !

    Hope this helps !:A

Did anyone else notice that the points machine was printing 200 extra points on a £30 spend ? and yes., it did go through. I checked mine out in 4 lots and got 800 extra points.
Got tons of stuff, Great Yarmouth had masses. DIL was on the school run so I did her shopping too. Never posted a picture on here before but will try now.
Stocked up for birthdays, Xmas and a local charity raffle we do every year too.

Picture didn't work but its on my FB page

I bought this - to be honest it is ok for the money we paid today but would never pay £25 and yes there were only 3 items in it - think this is about the only item that I wonder if I should have left on the shelf

I left it on the shelf but now wish I had got it :rotfl:

I was really after the cream coloured case and they had all gone by the time I got there.

But so wish I had got this one now that I have worked out the case and 3 items are 1.56 each :(

Are you sure you got EXTRA points ???

For ages the advantage card vouchers are just XXX points on a £XX spend which incorporate your normal 4 points per pound and a few extra......

So glad I didn't get sucked into the Boots sale mania this year - but pleased for everyone who went and is happy with their purchases. This year, I saved my pennies and my feet!

Went to Kingston Upon Thames about 5pm and half the shelves were empty but still a good selection. No no.7 or sanctuary though :(

I got there about 4pm and there was loads. Really didn't expect to get much. Did you know there were more gifts upstairs?

Bought my baby a gorgeous coat and hat that I've had my eye on since before Christmas, and a birdcage mirror, and some bench toiletries for son. Very pleased and saved almost 50 pounds:j

  • I don't even know what caused me to wander into town today on my lunch break, but went by just in time I think!
Got a load of goodies (3 february birthdays), a few bits for me ("hello kitty / liberty gift pack" "gu" chocolates etc) and a very pink washbag ("kiss me quick") that my (male!) OH has nabbed, ever so chuffed chuffed that it'll fit all his toiletries in!
(This was in Hereford store, tho by the way folks were going at it there's not much likely to be left by tomorrow...!)
... and whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should ...
