Don't know if anyone else has posted, but here are 75% off sale start dates from years past.

2011's 75% off was 19th Jan, and the 90% was on 2nd Feb

Every year there seems to be a week or two of rumours prior to the 75% off ranging from "I overheard 2 SAs saying it's tomorrow" vs "I know the manager in my local store and he has just had an email from HO saying there is not going to be one" etc etc etc it's always the same...
I'm not saying there definitely is or isn't going to be one, all I can say is there has been one every year I can remember, and there has also been "will there won't there" rumours every year too.

:o Thanks for the great advice! Has anyone else come across points promotion coupons in gift sets? I remember the Soap and Glory Big Spender had one in recently.

I bought the S&G tin with the apron today and it had a coupon for 200 points when you spend £10 on S&G. Tin isn't sealed though so it would be a simple matter to pull the coupon out!

  • Really peed off!
Waited in all yesterday for my Marc Jacobs Daisy gift set that I ordered, and nothing arrived.
Checked Yodel tracking again this morning and it said delivered at 9.02pm to the front porch!
There is nothing there and I never heard anyone in a car/van either!
Called Yodel this morning, only to be told it's not their problem (by someone who could barely speak English) and that I had to chase it up with Boots!
Boots customer care doesn't open until 8.30am, so I'm just venting off until I call them.
I dunno how this is going to be resolved though because if I end up getting a refund (I'd rather have a replacement but know it's now OOS) how the blooming hell can I get one when I had to cancel my card yesterday because I lost it!
    It's a flippin' nightmare! :(

Chances are they will try again to deliver it, even though it says delivered.

Would it not be possible to asked to put a kind of waiting list? so the moment it comes in you get it at the price you already paid for? (sorry its never happened to me so don't know), but tesco (yes I know different kettle of fish) did this for me when what I had ordered did not arrive and could not be found online or instore as oos. Good luck!
  • If they missed a delivery then you might want to read this article that Martin & Co wrote a month or two back then...

  • My local boots is still stacked to the rafters with gifts, I got a couple of things in the sale, organiser, So Kiss me perfume set for £2.50 and a Lynx set for £3. Not much of a deal on the other stuff. If it goes to 75% off I'll have another look, it may seem more appealing then ;)

What happens if they do deliver the item after the refund has been given for it not showing up?

    Two choices

    1. You phone and tell them and pay
    2. Not going to post it as it's wrong.
