Boots 1/2 Price Sale

Just got back from Boots Liverpool Clayton sq and was shocked at how much was actually left, both upstairs and downstairs was full of gifts, shelves were actually full with each product too. I cant see how they will get rid of this much stock if theres no 75% sale.

I fell in love with the S&G body scrub, bought about 4 blue tubs from the clearence shop - big ones at £2.50 each (about August time).
Gutted I'd not got more, sister and Sister-in-law helped themselves to my stock had planned to get more and when I went back 2 weeks later all gone.

Can't bring myself to buy from Boots at the current 3for2, waiting it out till I see them at the clearence store (bound to be since everyone says they over stocked on the gift set).

Oh and i bought a few no.7 gift sets for £1.50 around Feb of this year and they had the previous years extra points coupon still in.

For the smaller things if you can hold out till it comes in the clearence stores - they do everything from clothes, nappies, buggies, prams, car seats, cots, makeup, lotions and gifts sets plus some.

Forgot to say ... you can't get points at the clearence shop, so don't save your extra points for the clearence shop, BUT you can still buy with them.

What clearance shop? We are talking about the boots sale aren't we? I am confused.

My tuppence worth fwiw: Boots always try to pull the 'no 75%sale this year' malarkey. There will be a 75% around mid Jan. They will then say 'no 90% this year' but by end Jan, anything left will be in a 90% sale.

If you really want something, buy it now. If you only want it cheaper than it is now, wait and take your chances.

am working in boots. have not heared of any 75% sale yet. But i must say there are loads of gifts still left and it has been really busy for the last 3 days. thank God am off rest of the week:)

Beckton is the only Boots clearance shop I know about in the South. David Beckham was allegedly photographed there earlier in the week!! :rotfl:

I went to the West Cornwall shopping park Boots to test the Hugo Orange I was given as a Christmas gift to see if I liked it before opening it (I didn't) so exchanged it (was also given the receipt in case i didn't like it) for a couple of Ghost sets.

They still had the Soap & Glory Yum at Heart sets stacked over 3 shelves and had loads of the OOTW FCUK bag sets left (bought 1 for myself as ordered one as a gift online) as well as loads of No7, ted baker, strictly, fearne sets. There was also a fair few perfume sets around the perfume area.

I made 3 orders from the site on Christmas Eve to be delivered to my house and was pleased with what I ordered between Boots, M&S and Matalan I've sorted birthdays, mothers day, and Christmas for most of our family and friends as well some nice bits for us.

I see some are having their deliveries already, my account states upto the 5th January.
