As they put plastic ties in the zip you can't see if there are any tell tale signs that you've bought them in the sale the previous year.
Thanks for the great advice! Has anyone else come across points promotion coupons in gift sets? I remember the Soap and Glory Big Spender had one in recently.

I also bought one of the Mandara Spa weekend bags in Sainsburys reduced from £40 to £10. Has a bleep bleep competition on it which expires March 2012. Will just have to keep it for myself.0

My £100 of gifts came today... and I opened both of the Nivea sets and in both of them was a promotion to win £1000 with a Feb closing date! So be careful! It was in the cracker gift set, and also the big gift set with 7 products!
:j:j Wishing everyone lots of luck :j0 -
I also received my order today which I placed on xmas eve. Between my boots , lloyds, debenhams and superdrug orders I have made a great start on xmas 2012 presents
. I also have all my cards, wrap, gift bags and crackers. Luckily I dont think I need to worry about points offers being inside as most of the gifts I bought are in transparent boxes or are perfume sets.
Have also bought some alcohol gifts sets from sainsburys, half price lego from argos last week and half price hello kitty bike and pram for upcoming birthdays. My park love to shop vouchers order for xmas 2012 is placed and I already have £57 on my tesco xmas savings......... so now all thats done, its beans on toast for tea for the next month! :rotfl:0 -

It's not really a 50% off sale though is it....It's a 17% off sale (maths is not great but approx). as everything was 33% off before xmas anyway (3-for-2). I normally love the sales, but I didn't buy a thing at Boots yesterday. It's the first time I've been in this year and everything seemed really really pricey.0

The S & G Yum at Heart also has a coupon in for Advantage PointsCompetition Wins:
Glee Goodie Bag!

Well I bought 7 items in the sale.
Full price in 3 for 2 before xmas would have cost me £50 (assuming Boots still take every 3rd gift off in price order, and not the cheapest ones).
I paid £37 in the sale.
So a saving of £13 which I am more than happy with.0 -
I got a
Loverdose Gift Set - £24.33 (Not Half Price)
Kitchen Timer in shape of Teapot - £2.75
Umberto Gianni Gift Set - £4.50
