Boots 1/2 Price Sale

Don't know if anyone else has posted, but here are 75% off sale start dates from years past.0

The only thing I wanted from Boots this year was the Front Cover Rainbow eyes set. I've been watching it everyday to see if it goes down in price, but it wasn't included in the 1/2 price sale as of yesterday. Checked today and it's gone from no reduction to 75% off online and out of stock.
Went to my two nearest Boots stores and neither of them have it. Absolutely gutted.

Third day running I have been in to Boots (Boxing Day, yesterday and today). I just keep hoping the Daisy Gift Set will magically appear on the shelves
Each time I have walked out with Sanctuary Gift Sets as my mam loves Sanctuary so that is Mother's Day, her Birthday in Sept and Christmas 2012 gifts sorted for her
Lot's of Sanctuary gift sets in store including the gift box which was priced at £40 then reduced to £19 and sold out. I think they must have a lot more stock out the back as the shelves were full.
When I purchased some fragrance gift sets in Debenhams today I was told they did not have a lot of gift sets this year which is why there was not a great lot left over in the sales this year as they have cut right back and will do the same again next year. I think it is to stop people holding off until the sales (since it will be sold out before christmas) or returning fragrance gift sets purchased at full price before christmas then getting them half price or 1/3 off on Boxing Day. I'm sure it will be the same for Boots too. I did notice that the two gift sets I really wanted were out of stock before Christmas.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
Thanks for the great advice! Has anyone else come across points promotion coupons in gift sets? I remember the Soap and Glory Big Spender had one in recently.
I had one in a gift this year, as far as i was concerned it just showed that person was as savvy with their money as i am - certainly nothing to be embarrassed about. It was a sanctuary one, i got loads as gifts all the family now know what i like:) no need to buy any in the sale for myself this year.0 -
Some people saying the 75% is not going to happen this year & some saying it is, who to believe ?
Will just have to wait a see.:A0 -
I couldn't believe how much stock was still left in the Southend store today.
Usually by now you walk round and it's just bits and bobs but there was loads left. Lots of the No7 bath sets and big hat boxes.
I refrained from buying anything though as i spent all my money in Lush at lakeside :rotfl:0 -
Not been tempted either
prices have gone up a couple of £s from last year. I did buy perfume gift sets last year at 1/2 price but this year they've taken 1/3 off so not bothered about buying them.
Have quite a few ACM points to spend when the 75% sale starts!Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Not sure if this is in every store, however Boots Festival Park, Stoke have BarryM dazzle dusts and fine glitter at £2.20 per pot. Not seen them that cheap anywhere.
Sorry if this has been reported before but didn't want others to miss out.___________________________________________

Also, heard staff talking today saying the 75% sale was 'nowhere to be seen. Oh well, I've purchased presents for the rest of the year and treated myself too (and the little one to some lovely clothes) so cannot really complain.___________________________________________
