Just unpacked my bags - doesn't seem as much when you get it home does it! :rotfl:
One thing missing that must have fallen out of my basket but hope someone else appreciated the find!
Well all over for another year.Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
Decided to visit my local branch mid morning, expecting the sale shelves to be bare but it was so quiet I thought the sale had been cancelled! Just one side of one aisle devoted to 75% off but still lots of toiletry sets/gifts etc on it and no-one else looking!!! I leisurely filled two baskets and by then another couple of ladies had started looking. I just could not believe how civilised it was!! I spent about £48 in total, meaning I got about £200 worth of goods. Well pleased as that has covered a few birthday pressies and lots of Christmas pressies. There was a total lack of toys and very little in the way of men's stuff but I was still more than happy with what I got. And I had one use left on my double points coupon! Hope everyone else is as happy as I am!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Think boots should limit the amount of each products people can buy as there was a few people with about 20 blue bags each where they had taken the whole box of items etc just greedy. Hope you all got a bargain
I totally agree, I went for 9 this morning,I managed to get 10 gift sets :-) although it was basically like a bun fight in a bakery. There was an oldish Indian lady sat on the floor with 4 trolleys and alot of blue bags - may 9 or 10 maybe more, she was obviously looking after them while whoever she was with continued to shop as when I was leaving she was still sitting there with even more bags. The sales assistant was very flustered and said that there was a really large queue when she arrived at work, she did say that people had been buying stuff by the box load. It is great to get a bargain but there does come a point were greed takes over0 -
Folkestone is cleared out, I queued from 8.45 there were about 20 by time it opened. Got a bit nasty but ah well I got £180 stuff for £31 (had boots points to spend)
and when I got the bags home there was MORE in there than I had thought!0 -
i went this morning to the braehead store and they had quite a bit. i avoided the sanctuary and the champneys as it wasnt needed but i was very tempted! i got some botanics sets, some fcuk, some little perfume sets both mens and womens, a joules thermas flask, a winnie the pooh hot water bottle cover ( as a treat to keep the toddler happy) and some childrens board games. the best things i got were
oral b electric toothbrush set £60 - £15
duplo set £25 - £6.25
spent about £60 in 3 transactions, everyone seemed happy enough at opening time, quite busy but everyone polite, daughter didnt get trampled, people apologising for knocking eachother and telling eachother where they got stuff etc. all in all very happy. presents for the year all sorted!!0 -
Yes! :T:rotfl:
Wasn't the lady who ran in ahead of us funny?! I didn't know if she was going to cry or punch someone, she was so serious!
