Count me in as well. I haven't been on here for a while as have been busy getting my own business started. But now that is running quite smoothly I will be back and reading posts more often. I have already lost a stone in weight and am determined to lose more.
My start date will be 1st Jan officially but I will start trying to lose weight from now on. My current starting weight is 11st 8 and it would be great if I could lose 2 stone in the next 4 months.
The making £2000 will be a lot harder but I will make a real effort to clear out our house by selling on ebay. Will try and think up other ways of making money - can we also count saving money in the £2000?DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Baby due May 2010! TEAM PINK!!

I'd like to join too MrB... I haven't had a chance to check my weight (no scales at home) but I do know my target. I'm guessing I'm around 12st 7 and want to get to 11st. I'm not going to attempt to make £2k as my work/lifestyle won't allow for it (although I could try to beat a decent bonus out of my boss which would arrive in March
) but I will aim to save that much, despite the ongoing drain of home improvements on my finances.
I have access to fitbug as part of my work health insurance, so need to get a new battery for my pedometer and start working on my fitness (a lot of the last year has been spent on bed rest, but I should now be ok to start working up to running again) and get into the habit of uploading my meals. I have also downloaded some free fitness apps to see what might help. I need to meal plan anyway as I have to follow some fairly specific guidelines (although I'm currently ignoring the no potato, no banana rules), and this should help both cost and diet.
Good luck everyone!0 -

Hi, I'd like to sign up too. Making money isn't my number one focus at the moment but getting fit and healthy definately is.
I'd like to weigh in on Friday 30th as we're pigging out on the 29th. That'll fit the Friday people a lot of folks are advocating for weigh-ins.
My target...and even if I get some I'll be happy...is 4 stones. Actually numbers to come on Friday.
Thanks and good luck to us all.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Put me down for 2 Stone. I will weigh in on the 1st Jan. I probably will weigh more than 12st 7lb by then
Party on the 31st so may as well start at my lowest point and my highest weight:rotfl:iyswim.
I am planning on walking. I was walking back from town centre before Christmas each time I went in, takes me about 45 mins. (running is out of the question for me; I used to when I was much younger, but also there are parts of me that just can't stand the impact. (dodgy back; before you all start guessing and making it much more interesting than it really is) I am also hoping to start pilates class soon finances allowing, but I do have a dvd to try in the mean time.My finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -
saving for a rainy day. Thanks for reminding me. Somewhere in the house is the Shred DVD still in its packaging. I can't do that when the kids or mum are around, so I have until Feb 10th to find it! But after that I am sure it will help with my fitness (if it doesn't kill me). *wanders off to try and figure out where I have hidden it*. Whilst I didn't walk up a volcano today, I did go for a little walk. Cue massively out of breath and realising that I am NOT over my cold yet bleugh...
