OK Mr B I'm in! There will certainly be some weight loss by 23rd April and any money made will be going straight off some part of the debt. 2012 will be a significant year for me for all sorts of reasons and by 23rd April I will be four days off a significant day. So I am liking this challenge and its given me the kick up the derriere to get the DF diary going again. Ta

ETA: Woah just seen the spread sheet! OK if I am serious about this I guess I need to put some figures down. Please add the following. Start weight: 13 st 12lbs aim by 28th April 12st 12lbs

Hi Mr B - have been following you from the start and have your Kindle books (whens the next one out:)). Please can I join the Challenge - I'm aiming for 2 stone loss, starting weight 13st !(eek:eek: ) and will be trying tomake money as well

    THank you
  • I have never been able to do the weigh once a week thing ... got excited and got on the scales and have lost 2.25lbs that takes me down to 15 stone 9.25lb. My sensible head reminds me that this is mainly water etc etc but I can't help but be pleased. Going to keep up the momentum!

Woohoo! Just made my first 50p of my £2k :) Transferred my cards and coppers from my old purse to the new one DD gave me for Christmas, chosen all by herself and boy does it show that a 6 year old was in charge, lol, a purse only a mummy could love :) Anyway.......my mummy slipped a 50p in there before they wrapped it up :)

Not home yet so can't step on the scales, and to be honest, I'm scared to publicly announce my weight as it's a lot more than most people on the challenge *sigh*, but baby steps....

Oh dear... have been at the chocolates... will wait to get on familiar scales at home tomorrow to see if there's been any damage. However there are fish & chips scheduled for later so I had better keep active. Keep up the good work everyone!

  • Hey MrB,

Thanks for putting me on the sheet! I weighed myself today - 15st 6, this will proba be more like 15st 7 by the time I start.

Can you put me down for a start date of 1st Jan, to end 30th April, end weight 13st 7 as it already has!

Money will be paid off overdraft and saving for holiday/car insurance/Christmas!

Can I join this challenge too please -
    Dates 28/12/11 to 27/4/12,
Weight 12 stone 2lbs aiming to be 10 stone 2lbs,
will try to go for £2ooo but I doubt I will make that - this will be by savvy shopping, making and selling crafts to use up some of my horde of stuff (table sales or poss ebay)

Heres to my first MSE challenge ! Good luck everyone

Hi, Ive been watching this thread over the past few days and its now time for me to get on with it. Please can you add me to the list 27/12/11 15 stone 12lbs and want to be 13 12 by 27th of april.

Someone on the thread asked for hints and tips to be added, well here are a few that I'm doing to try and improve my overall health.

I'm a bit of a list person so ive done a plan for the next 2 weeks with 3 small goals.
    1) 15 mins of exercise a day (get in to routine then build up/ including walk at lunch time)
    2) 8 glasses of water a day ( to make me aware of drinking more, as I can go all day without a drink)
    3) Eat 3 portions of fruit or veg a day ( eventually build up)

I tick them off as i do them. Im a visual learner and the lists and ticking off motivates me. I will have a look at them again in 2 weeks and do some new goals. Hope these ideas help someone. Sam

I was concentrating so much on not eating the food that I forgot about the money part of the thread. I think £500 is a more realistic amount for me. I will go and have another drink now.
