Have managed to maintain the insane 5lb loss I shed last Saturday and thanks to a miscommunication from the loft insulation company - who told me they wanted the existing insulation left down to lay the new stuff on top of - when in fact it turns they meant to say the complete sodding opposite, I shall be atop Bloater Towers tomorrow with gloves dustmask and binbags aplenty. The resultant sweats and strains from the double blow of being scared of heights and allergic to dust should result in a couple more pounds coming off. Money saved - grrrrrrr, nada, naff all. Think I'm just about over the hundred quid mark in almost a month and not much else on the horizon. But all this is more than made up for with the amazing progress of the majority of you guys on here. Am off now to enjoy my first bottle of wine for a week. A £3.49 special. It's bound to be a good 'un....
  • 3rd gym sesh of the week done tonight :D not ate particularly well this week tho, maybe next week after I weigh myself and see I've stayed the same (quite probable!) Found a pound in my locker, and 5p on the floor the other night which I forgot :rotfl: Will add to my sig!

Feeling rough with a cold for the past week. This means comfort food was the order of the [STRIKE]day[/STRIKE] week and weight has STS again.

(Still don't know how that tub of B & J Phish food got in my basket ;) and how I managed to eat it all without the kids getting a look in:o) I should think myself lucky that I managed to STS with antics like this

Money - nuffink - must do better on both fronts

Miggy - I never seem to womble any money (unless DH leaves some hanging about ;)).

Hi elly68, several companies online do this. Just google frosted sticky paper for glass and you'll find loads of links. :)

At last caught up with all my savings this month...may find a few more over the weekend when I have another look.

    So have managed to save
    £439.62 so far. :j

It could have been more, but didn't get around to cancelling the wine club order on Friday, so will try to remember to ring them on Monday. I will do another tot-up o Monday, as I weigh-in then. Can't see me shifting any weight this week, but pleased with the savings...probably won't be as much in the coming months, but you never know! Who knows, I may even get close to the 2K at this rate!! I was beginning to think I would find it hard to reach 1K, so surprising myself so far.

Have a good weekend everyone...good luck with the insulation Mr B x

  • Hi folks

Been MIA all week. Have the pleasure of transatlantic guests all week. Decreasing bank balance and expanding waistline to accompany. Haven't been near the scales..... Dread to think. Will brave a weigh in tomorrow or Monday and report back. Not feeling hopeful of any loss.

And to add insult to injury, I get paid on Tues and after a long and arduous January will be £500 down, due to my employer totally cocking up my salary payment this month. I am told I will be reimbursed at end of Feb....That's if I get there in one piece.

Oh well at least the inability to fund groceries will be good for the weightloss element of this challenge
