  • Doing totally rubbish on the weight front, and no motivation on the money front. I'm starting again tomorrow. Will write a shopping list tonight while the rest of the family has deserted me and gone down the pub leaving me to babysit :(
    DEBT LBM-3.10.2011:o Total debt-6800  09.09.13-zero :D
  • Another 2.5lb off this week, which was a nice surprise considering I struggled to stay on the straight and narrow over the weekend :rotfl:

On the money front, after recent eBay sales the grand total so far is £760.

Keep up the good work everyone, it will be worth it.

    11lb/28lb. £760/£2000
  • Whoops, I am pleased about savings and weight loss but didn't quite mean to make the totals that large !

Some fantastic results this month...amazing what can be achieved with a bit of incentive!! Well done everyone :T:T

STS on the weight this week, though I suppose it could have been worse...that's

  • So I've managed to stay the same weight I was when we began this challenge. Still I should look at the positive that at least I havent gained any weight either. Weigh in is Wednesday so lets hope for some weight loss this time!

Money wise its looking better. I added £680 today for Decembers overtime payments. That brings me to £827.20/£2000.

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • Ventured onto the scales - gained 4lb of the 6ln I had lost grrrrrrr. So for the whole of January I have lost 3lbs. Woo blooming hoo....

Not to worry. Guests depart today. Back to normal eating and drinking patterns. Alcohol consumption this month will be vodka (found a 1ltr bottle of Smirnoff at back of cupboard. Must be a remnant from Christmas) and low calorie tonic. Frugal February. Savings stand at £729. Will deplete over the next 4 weeks due to shambolic salary gaff.

Oh well - onward and upward....

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
  • Well I finally got on to the scales and have lost my first 5lb.

Finally I've shifted a whole pound, bringing me back to where I was earlier last year (I think).

Money-wise, I've been too busy at work to spend much, but that's meant I haven't saved much either. My piano lesson today was cancelled again which is a shame in that I miss the lesson but good in that I haven't had time/concentration to practice and also there's now £10 to put towards mortgage overpayment.

    £1.84 saved while shopping...

Also 5p wombled off receipts. :) Every little helps. :D
