Mr B - Can I ask what the kindle income is on your siggy? Not heard of anything like that before.0
-
@lolly 101 - inspired by MSE'rs I went and reissued some books I had written a long time ago (but had kept the digital rights to because back in those days there wasn't anything like digital rights) onto the Kindle platform. Next to the name of each book is the total sales - and then the total royalties I have earned from each release. As I set the price at the lowest possible point I get a whopping 26p per sale. As you can see, it's hardly in the John Grisham league but it is nonetheless income that I wouldn't have had before I started on here.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Mr Bloater, just a thought but would it help if people put anything for the spreadsheet in red - to make it easier for you to spot?
That sounds a very good idea to me - I think I will do it anyway as it will help me keep focused.
Mr. B, please could you put my start date down as 23/12 and my fabulously slim date as 23/4/12? Thanks.
Today's confession - I managed the smaller bowl of porridge but grazed on chocolate at work.Still weighing 9st 11lbs which is still an lb up on where I started, and still not well enough to exercise which is I think actually making more of a difference than the chocolate.
I have given more thought to the £2K part of the challenge. Mine won't be 2K and will definitely be mortgage overpayments but we are still tied in to a penalty if we overpay too much, so I'm limited. This runs out soon and what I can overpay will then depend on what we opt into next.
Money savings will be extra hours at work (looking like at least 18 this month as there's sickness at work to cover), ebay, wombled loyalty points and anything else I can think of. A tiny treat as I picked up 21p's worth of points dropped by some New Year reveller that other day but it doesn't count until I actually add it to my card. I'm also thinking of starting one of the H@lifax accounts that pays £5 a month if I can pay £1.000 through it. Hoping they haven't cancelled them since I last looked into it! I don't have £1,000 to put through but have realised thanks to this site that I can take out and pay back in.If I don't keep track of that then it's my own fault.
I'm loving reading this thread and am very grateful I'm not on my own as I'd soon loose incentive. AlsoI have to admit I'm so relieved I'm not the only one to have started with a gain!
I think I saw a trailer for The Biggest Loser at some unearthly hour - will get watching again as it's my main motivator - lost quite a lot doing their Wii programme two years ago.
And I've just had a further MS thought - I will add in any savings made from whoopsied items at the supermarket. Sometimes I do really well on this!
Onward and downward everyone!Miggy

I'm gonna sign up to this. I need to lose some weight (will weigh in when I get home) - and I need to earn plenty of money if I'm going to acheive my goal of being debt-free this summer. I'm gonna cheat a little though and include overtime, starting today.
Doing 2¾ hours overtime (paid at standard rate £10.45/hour) = £28.74
Plus found a penny earlier (every little help's, right?!)
So total's thus far:
Start 02/01/12 ~ 0s 0lb / 2s 0lb ~ £28.75 / £2,000 ~ End 01/05/12Search for Crunchy's Debt Deletion Diary... Updated daily (ish...)Challenges 2012:Sealed Pot 5: #15832 Stone / 2 Grand / 4 Months: Start 02/01/12 - 0st 6lb / £1028.47 - End 01/05/120 -

Amazon is far better for most things if you have the time to wait, and regular access to a post office.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Not time for me to pop on the scales yet as only started yesterday.

I have a lot of paperback books not sure if Amazon is the place for them or not, some further investigations me thinks.
My finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -
