I am looking to buy a new vacuum last three i had were all dyson - however after paying over £200 each time for them I have found them to only last max of 1 year (no heavy use) only used a couple of times a week.
I am therefore looking for something else, has anyone any advice on what i could go for please willing to pay anything up to £150.
Thanks

They just lose suction and now the long thing that stretches wont stretch when vacuum is on. I find after about 6 months they are not as good as when purchased my sister has the same problem

Personally I would stretch to a Miele cylinder, buy cheep buy twice.0 -
We've had several Numatic Henry hoovers and they're great, simple, light and great suction. No easily broken plastic parts or nozzles where stuff gets clogged. Can be bought for around £100.
We have one for the car and outside that must be 10 years old and still going strong.0 -
i agree with the Miele suggestion i clean at my nan and grandads as they are in their late 80's and they have quite an old Miele pull along hoover and its fab!mummy to 3 monsters!
trying to money save, but spot too many bargains on here!!0 -
Henrys are quite good, I bought mine at least twentyfive years ago and it's still going strong. Quite amazing considering what I use it for outdoors sometimes!!!!!
You can use Henrys without a bag, but I found that it takes so long to clean the filter thingy, it's much easier to use a bag.0 -
