Good evening lovely ladies and a very big welcome to all the newbies.

Gosh, how many of us now. At this rate there's going to be a lot of people out there who won't know what's hit them. There will be this whole army of Fabulous women, strutting our stuff, sashaying our way through life, cutting a dash and dazzling all before us. (Getting an early "D" in there for next week:rotfl:).

Some great weight losses this week, lots of fabbing going on and loads and loads of positivity. No need for motivational pep talks here.;)

To those of you who are struggling - don't worry - we all have our off days - or even weeks - just keep at it and it will all come together in the end.

If you have a bad day or three - just remember the Fab School Motto, borrowed from our old friend, Scarlett O"Hara in Gone With the Wind

    Tomorrow is Another Day

It's been a gorgeous day here today and I've felt really good - it's amazing the difference that bright sunshine can make. For me it doesn't matter if it's cold - its the blue skies and bright light that gives me energy.

Today in addition to spending a good 3 hours with OH, I have continued some de-cluttering, loaded the car ready for the tip tomorrow and put all the Christmas decorations etc back in the loft. Lots of healthy eats and even managed to do some physio stretches.

I've definitely got my Mojo back.:)

Onwards and upwards - all the way.

    Good night X
  • Glad you have your mojo back LL. Fabbing today for me:
    1. Shower, body scrub, wash hair.
    2. Face - cleanse, moisturise & make -up.
    3. Wear nice clothes to go and meet a friend for coffee at the local garden centre.

    Al x

My lactic/salicylic acid and mandelic acid peels came this morning so an acid peel will be part of today's fabbing! Along with half hour yoga, a green smoothie, body brushing, knuckle massage and perfumed body lotion. Hopefully all that will break up the monotony of revision.

    Morning ladies!
Its a nice cold crisp day here today with lots of frost - already taken the dogs to the park for a good trot around.
Also been to do the supermarket shop, it was very quiet in Mr T's, perhaps people have listened to the bad reports they had this week?
Just about to launch into cleaning (read fabbing, makes it sound better!) the house - I suppose its exercise;)

I picked up some hair dye so will do that tomorrow - no more "slighty paler" roots - its a real pain as my hair is naturally very dark brown but its been going grey since I was 21 (I'm 40 now) and has to be done every 3-4 weeks .

I did see some nice jewel coloured casual shirt tops in Mr T (3 buttons and no collar) for just £10 - I'll have a think and may invest in one when I'm out and about tomorrow - a bit smarter than a Tshirt and could be worn under cardies or even suits etc.

Right no more procratinating, hoover here I come, brace yourself!

Oooh! Forgot to add I've lost 1lb this week - not brilliant but better than nothing - that's 5lb down 5 to go!:j
  • well done on the weight loss Welshwoofer!

i still can't move after the gym today and i fear if i get in the bath, i won't be getting back out again so today isn't going to be involving much :rotfl:

i was going to go to yoga then into town and try and do the Clinique mascara swop but its prob a good idea i cant as i have 18 mascaras in my stash and I'm due another next month free with ELLE  i might try some yoga at home tonight if my muscles allow it.

had my first compliment this morning, DH said my belly is noticeably smaller so it looks like its all working :j

Well done on the weightloss welshwoofer! Plus lots of fabbiness on here too at the moment

I fabbed myself up today wearing my Christmas jumper (not decorated!) which is a longer tunic in teal, grey jeans, new grey boots and new necklace bought in the sale and my previous bargain purple coat, with purple and teal scarf - slightly colourful today!

Now I'm home I'm fabbing the house up in a bit as its in a bit of a state from last weeks study and before the current study kicks back in again

Also did the mascara swap and will have a go for another one next week then I'll have 2 of my favourite ones instead of 2 I don't like

I noticed something important today. As I was in a hurry I went to get my DD from dancing in a pair of joggy bottoms, trainers (seen better days) and a big waterproof jacket. I felt so self conscious and became aware that I was hunched over instead of walking tall and I walked most of the way there looking at my feet.

This is all in stark contrast to the way I have walked since starting to become fab. All week I have had a bit of a swagger :rotfl: and have been walking tall with shoulders back looking at the world around me.

It is clear to me which I prefer! Do any of you notice a difference in your outlook since starting the fabulous journey?

    Today my fabbing will/has been:

    1. Cleansed, toned, moisurised skin
    2. Cuticle oil and handcream (My nails are actually starting to look quite nice considering I've bitten them all my life)
    3. Showered and lashing of body lotion
    4. Found a body brush still in wrapping in back of bathroom cupboard so will start to use it.
    5. Sort feet out and change nail colour
    6. Cleanse, tone, night cream
    7. Drink plenty of water.

Rummer: I now walk looking where I'm going rather than at my feet:rotfl:and I smile and say goodmorning etc. when out walking my dog. I'm still not brave enough to talk to crowds of people but I've no doubt I will get there.
