Mrs Woolfe I have this I am really enjoying it :)
Bitsy, I'm a delicate shade of green! I'd love to be able to try that; but first I need to grow some extra arms, you know, like Kali http://lovingenergies.spruz.com/pt/-Today-Mother-Kali-speaks-to-You-/blog.htm (sorry, I can't recall how to do linkies properly)
because I need two hands for my walking sticks!:rotfl:

ETA Just realised, apart from dog-walking - as far as the nearest poo-bin and back, as Dilly's elderly and doesn't want long walks, and a couple of swift trips to the supermarket I haven't been anywhere whatsoever for well over a fortnight.

I love horse riding but am very nervous and to be honest too poor to go for lessons. Here it is £25+ an hour and I just don't have it. However it is such an amazingly relaxing thing to do :D

Well I'm hoping it will turn out to be that way! I've just started riding again after a major accident 18 months ago and I'm a bit of a wreck :( .... but ... I know it will get better.

Today rode a little square round the lanes with a pal walking with me and didn't have a panic attack so I am delighted. Wonder if the lippy and perfume had anything to do with it :rotfl:

I am going to look on ebay for some new to me riding stuff. Some of mine is old and a big "agricultural" the OH says. I am thinking that I might just feel better about the whole thing if I looked more fab.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Can you do any arm movements from your wheelchair although I know over exerting yourself has repercussions doest it? sorry don't know much about lupus :o

felt really meh today :( I think all my zumba (4 lots this week although not full hour, generally between 30-40 mins) and a busy week has all caught up on me and I have done nowt today. It took me till after midday to have a shower :o
I am bathing the kids as I type so will do some EVOO in a mo. Fabbing routines have slipped a little this week :o

    Enjoy your saturday night.

Well done for getting back on :Dyou must be so proud of yourself! I have had some horrendous experiences on horses however I was mercifully never physically hurt (well apart from a broken nose). My horse (now happy and much calmer in a more experienced home) used to bolt, rear and generally randomly freak and my nerve just went.

I have been hacking since and would love to ride every week so that I can eventually get my own horse again, it is just scary expensive

Today I put on my new dress, a slick of mascara and my favourite coat and went to meet a dear friend for coffee. She told me I looked better than I had in years which really meant a lot :D

Had my favourite velvet coat on today, that I hardly ever wear. Its not as warm as my work coat but I looked smarter!

I noticed something important today. As I was in a hurry I went to get my DD from dancing in a pair of joggy bottoms, trainers (seen better days) and a big waterproof jacket. I felt so self conscious and became aware that I was hunched over instead of walking tall and I walked most of the way there looking at my feet.

This is all in stark contrast to the way I have walked since starting to become fab. All week I have had a bit of a swagger :rotfl: and have been walking tall with shoulders back looking at the world around me.

It is clear to me which I prefer! Do any of you notice a difference in your outlook since starting the fabulous journey?
Yes, just a bit of effort really makes a difference to my head and my attitude to how I go about my day too.

Not doing very well this evening, just had a quick choc biscuit while I was waiting for dinner to cook and now I've gone into full fridge-raider mode. Seems that once I start on sugary stuff, I just can't stop.

Hope everyone's having a good Saturday.

    Hello all
I went into town to day and wore my new coat instead of saving it for best. I exchanged a pashmina my friend had bought me for Christmas from M & S. He'd got a gift receipt just in case so I decided to get a bright stripey scarf, not something I would usually chose, instead of another pashmina. It will look great with my coat. Reading this thread every day has meant that I'm actually thinking about how I look, my nails have been varnished every day this week and I do feel a bit more confident. I love to read about all your routines and this encourages me when I feel all 'can't be bothered'. We are worth it!
    take care all

I was feeling so positive at the start of the week and then I got on the scales and I’d put back even more weight. I have felt really down and rather stupidly have not been ‘fabbing’ at all.
The weather cheered me up today and I went for a little walk. I’ve decided that I need to ‘organise’ my time like I used to do when I was at work. Seemed a bit silly at first planning when I would clean the kitchen, condition my hair and do the gardening, I know I’ve been slipping with housework and I was quite shocked when I realised how much spend time I must be spending on the internet. It certainly focused my mind on the fact that I had hardly made a start on any of the projects I had intended to do when I first retired. I have spent a lot of time on my allotment but I could have done so much more with the last twelve months. I am determined to change things.
Have just been trying to catch up with all the posts, I feel better reading all the positive comments everyone has been making so thank you to everyone on here and apologies for being negative. I shall try harder this week.
    Have a good evening all.
Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

What a great thread, please can I join in too? I've got lots of lovely lotions & potions needing to get used up and a stone or so in weight to shift!
