welcome pnklipgloss. Um as for baby weight......does it count when your youngest is 3.5 years or am officially just fat :o:o

Deffo still counts as baby weight:D. My youngest is 18 and it still counts! (probably pushing it a bit to cite the foster children tho!).

Anyway, you're losing it, so that's the main thing! The boots are lovely btw.

morning everyone, glad to see everyone made the effort for fashion friday! started my day with a lovely shower with my clinique aromatics shower gel (why am i saving it for best??) and tried my hair in a different way, couldn't do much with wardrobe during the day, though like MRSTREE wore my orange scarf, then put on my "xmas dress" to go out last night, another thing i shouldn't just keep for best :D

also, went out at the crack of dawn (well 7.30) for a jog in effort to try and lose the weight, can't say i was that quick but certainly worked up a sweat i can tell you!

right off to shops, stay fab everyone

I used to do that too! No more! I have recently used up a lovely Calvin Klein shower gel and next to go will be an Issey Miyake (sp?)one.

    Nice boots Bitsy!

I hope fabbing the house counts? Healthy environment, healthy mind? Just cleaned right through (again!, flipping dogs and visitors) and got down on my hands and knees and cleaned all the wooden floors, changed the beds and given the kitchen a good doing (as my mother would say!).

Done the shopping and bought a ton of fruit and veg and no naughty things at all - if the contents of my fridge reflected me I'd be a 6ft tanned toned supermodel! (sadly not!)

    Fab wise today progress:

Returned knee high boots that didn't fit and got a refund. Collected going out shoe boots from M+S ready for night out when all studying is done by the end of Jan, right at the very end

Wore my favourite jumper dress, perfume, earrings, smart coat and casual boots and nice subtle fresh make up and lipstick with hair styled neatly and too my smarter bag too

Managed to stay strong looking in the sales and found a gorgeous dress that was 50% off, put it back though as can't really justify it as don't go out much but it is lovely. If it comes down in price a bit more I might get it if it fits and keep it for next Christmas!

So night out outfit is almost sorted with new shoe boots, tuxedo short jacket from M+S sale 50% (£16.99) to go over bright red matalan dress (50% off again at £9.90). Might splash out on a new slip to go under everything and hold me in and a new pair of tights then ready to go and knock 'em out with fabulousness!

I wondered if anyone would mind me joining this?

I'm 21, and suffer from fibromyalgia along with a multitude of other problems, which have stopped me exercising. I've started to struggle to fit into my jeans now, so I'm determined to lose some weight - I'm technically homeless, at the moment, so that will be a challenge, but I'm at a uni friends right now who has a rowing machine I'm allowed to use.

Started with 5 minutes on the lowest resistance yesterday, and am hoping to do at least half an hour today, as well as trying to cut out junk food and take aways (which is difficult when I don't have access to the kitchen!)

I bought myself some new makeup to motivate me, but so far haven't done great...I've worn none in the last few days, and my eyebrows need sorting out! I don't have the strength to do it myself, so I'll need to go into town for that at some point.

Anyway, I hope it's okay if I join in...

    OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a 2 pairs of reduced work trousers from M+S in the sale which arrived this afternoon. They were a bargain £6 each and after I had the same pairs about 15mths ago I thought it was time to buy some new ones especially as they'd been reduced. I tried on a size 12 about 3mths ago and they fitted fine, it was the time I had finally fitted into a size 12 trouser and jean size at M+S for a very long number of years and I was so pleased about this achievement with the diet

So when I ordered them they only had 1 size 12 and 1 size 10 in the different colours. I thought shall I see if the 10 fits? So I did and ordered both sizes thinking oh well if they don't fit I can take them back to the shop and for £6 not too much of a risk

And did they fit? YES!!!! I fit (just) into a size 10 pair of trousers! OMG! I never imagined I would get into these really, I hoped so but this is a new experience for me. Just when I started to lose some motivation for the final phase of weight loss I have regained it after this discovery! Onwards and upwards I go for the final few pounds to come off. Hopefully done and dusted in the next couple of months

As I've said before, if I can do this anyone can so please don't lose the faith about yourself if you're on the weight loss path. Just stick at it and you'll get there in the end.It took a few months for me to really knuckle down to changing my eating and once I did, I saw the results for myself. And always remember, slow and steady wins in the end, its not about weight dropping off super quick, its about keeping it off in the longterm

a year ago I was squeezing into a size 14 pair of work trousers and now I can fit into a size 10. Now that's what I call a result from losing weight!

fedupandskint - well done on your work trouser bargains. several times ive managed to pick up sale bargain school girl trousers (laaaaaaaaaaargest size) £1 per pair in M & S and use these for my work. have had them in grey and navy but sadly never in black. probs the black ones get picked up first.

Would it be ok if I joined. I have decided that this year is 'me' year. I bought dd up on my own and she has now left home. I havie spent years just looking worn out with juggling a very demanding job, single parenthood and renovating a house. I have a lovely fiance and want to look better by my wedding in 2013.

I had set aside a personal budget, but the clutch has just gone on the car :(

On the plus side I had an email this week to say I have won a wii fit :D
