Then you'll have a nice few years of respite - then she'll become a teenager.:eek:
Then the fun will really start.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:as the mother of two girls I can second that!!! More seriously, you do need to nag your doctor about the tiredness morocha, being fobbed off isn't good enough. Interestingly, how are you feeling today? If the weather's glorious like it is here it should make you feel good. I was just trying to gauge how much might be physical and how much just feeling 'down'.lessonlearned wrote: »I was going to mention Mothers in Law :eek:
I've had two and they were both monsters. (God rest their souls).
I will be a paragon.:rotfl::rotfl:
I, too have had 2 MILs. The first was pleasant enough but very old school. She was kind enough when it came to babysitting and the like but couldn't seem to hide the fact that it was really only the blue-eyed boy and DGD that she was intersted in seeing, not me. We also had quite different views on child rearing and a woman's place but mostly I managed to bite my tongue. DD1 doesn't seem to have suffered too much from the bottles of sweet tea she liked to give her! I recall when I left her darling son, she couldn't understand how I could walk away from my beautiful house!!!
The second was great, but I think that may have been because we were more like friends. I was older and more confident when we met so maybe it was as much me as her.
I haven't forgotten fab Friday. I'm out for dinner this evening so will definitely dress up a bit then. I've had a shower, defuzzed, creamed and am about to blow dry my hair so I'm getting there.

Fabulousness today
Have chucked out old worn tights and replaced with new pairs in the sales 2 pairs bought today and some pairs bought a few weeks ago.
Also sorted out sock drawer and underwear drawer - all now up to date and chucked out old pairs worn away.
Bought a new bright checked shirt in M+S sale with £10. Looked lovely on in the bright colours and its the first time a size 10 shirt has fitted so well. Still can't get used to this!
Anyway this was to replace the bright pink checked one I had last year that I wore a lot and is now too baggy for me. It has plenty of wear left in it and I think I'll see if it fits mum next time I go to visit her as she has also lost weight and gone down a dress size or 2. Hope she likes it and it will go nicely with her new jeans she now wears courtesy of me!
When I do the clothes turn around from autumn/winter wear to spring/summer wear I'll do the same and get rid of anything I haven't worn the last season, looks frumpy or doesn't fit for both sets of clothes then its onto the shoes, coats and bags and I'm done!
Also picked up a pair of bargain sale pj's in primarni today for the bargainous price of £3 ready to go into storage for autumn and winter later this year.
Feel better today after the rubbish feelings the last couple of days. So onwards and upwards today with more holiday preps.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Well, we went into S/drug; couldn't find the Vaseline, so Mr LW asked an assistant. "It's over there on the top shelf" she said, waving vaguely towards the babycare stuff. Off we trotted - only to find an empty space where the Vaseline should be.:(
Anyways, we nipped up the mall to B00ts, and I'm now the proud owner of a thundering big pot of the stuff, which will probably last the rest of my life!:D Cost: £2.55. Lets hope it works on the ol' talons.:)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Its the weeeeekend!!!! And its supposed to be a nice one weatherwise:T
One week left to work and then 2 lovely weeks off:j
Lots to do this weekend around the house and errands etc. The dog is having a make over tomorrow morning - he'll go from looking like an over grown sheep to a little baby lamb - normally looks gorgeous when he's done (for about 2 mins until he rolls in something unmentionable:o).
The garden needs sorting, house needs a good clean, windows need cleaning and I need to do a big food shop. I'm starting a new "diet" from tomorrow - the flab MUST go and soon before it gets any further out of hand - I'm a 40 year old divorcee now so I'm not going to let myself go. Give me a good slap if you see me anywhere near the sweeties or crisps.
So tonight, the last of the bottle of wine is going (and not down the drain!) and the few biccies will disappear then its lettuce all the way!
On the personal fabbing front, roots will be done, a quick sunbed for the psoriasis (only a few mins), nails need some attention and I'm going to try to find a new good but cheap body scrub (any recommendations?).
I'm off to research somewhere not very far away but nice for a change to walk the dog and make the most of the weather before it starts raining again.0 -
Thank you so much everyone ! All of you are being so friendly and considerate, it makes me feel very welcome here.
I haven't had a blood test in years, so really do not know about iron, vit b12, if i have anemia.... I just don't know. I've been working out quite a lot the last two week for the serotonin to kick in and feel good, so far no good... Today I went to the gym, worked for 2 hs and did not feel any better.
Today was a beautiful day, I love the sun ( I Come from a warm country) still was not enough to make me wanna get up of bed... but I just do it, I have to take DD to school.
I think I haven't explain more details about why I am like this at this time, my mum had a car accident, my dad was diagnosed with diabetes, My daughter has ADD and maybe dislexia ( her dad has both) school can not cope with her, she's falling behind-their words- they want her to have her own tutor, so we have to go to many meetings, my OH is just being an idiot for the last 3 weeks... I'm so worry about my family ( they live in the other side of the world, just went to see them in January after 3 years not seeing them)Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -
Wow its quiet here today! I guess everyone is out enjoying the weather?
Been very busy today - dog has had his haircut (looks very cute), done the food shopping and bought more than my body weight in F&V and no naughties, cleaned the car, mowed the lawn, cleaned the house, walked the dog twice in the sun, and been to change my name back to my maiden name with the bank (and get the Dr back instead of Mrs!) and to the library.
First chance for a sit down!
I managed to get some body scrub from Boots and its was 3 for 2 with my hair dye so got an extra scrub free:j Hope it works now.
My period started this morning and I've had a banging headache all day but I refuse to give in to it - a couple of nurofen and a can of diet pop fixes everything right?:p
Staying in tonight and will watch a movie and eat a nice healthy tea - I will be transformed into a lithe beauty by the end of the week (probably not but I'm trying to be positive!)0 -
Th. Today I went to the gym, worked for 2 hs and did not feel any better.
I'm no expert but I would think that 2 hours in one go is far too much. Better to do little and often I think.

You've got a lot on your plate. You cannot deal with all this at once, especially your parents who live so far away.
I would suggest you just concentrate on yourself and your daughter for now, preferably with some help and support from your OH.
If he won't help you and only makes matters worse ............ well - only you can decide the answer to that one.
Lovely day here today. I've been really lazy, sat out in the sun and read my book. Now off to see OH for the evening - "Date Night" with paella and a DVD.
WW - you make me feel exhausted just reading about your day.:rotfl:0 -

Morocha, I think you should definitely go to doctor - lots of surgeries have 'Wellwoman' clinics where you can just get an overall checkup and it might be helpful.
Look after yourself - you're worth it!!0 -
OH has pneumonia - again.....
Just back from the nursing home, he's staying there tonight under close supervision.
Going to try & grab a few hours sleep - going to need all my strength tomorrow.:(0 -
