The meeting went very well and I have extended into next year now to ease off the pressure to complete and still have a life while working and studying - feeling much better now for sure.
Also weigh in day went well today with 1lb off today or half a kg. Leaves 2lbs to go as I forgot about my target weight. So jsut one more kg and I'm there! Also hoping to get there in the next couple of weeks before holiday time but no big deal really as happy where I am nowfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Great compliments sparkles and maybe tomorrow you'll be able to spread the word with your friend. I remember when you were down (hence your username I recall?) but Wow! have you come a long way. I'm always interested in your outfits, seems to me you've really embraced colour.
I sure have, I embraced it a little last year and decided to go for it this year and boy does it work. Colour for me all the way this spring and summer
And this made me giggle andwhen I read it! Make it so No.1

can I come back? - things have gone from bad to worse. I put on over a stone since I was last here but have lost 11 pounds of that in the last two weeks. The reason for this is because I have been suffering from hip pain & sitting eating rather than exercising. It turns out I have a deformed hip which is showing signs of wear & tear i.e. arthritis . The only way I can stop the pain is 1. to exercise so the bone strengthens & 2 lose weight to reduce the strain - hence the lost 11lbs.
The good news though is I have a grandson who is now 2 months old & my daughter is getting married in May 2013 so hopefully I will have lost a lot of the weight by thenproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0 -
Great news about the meeting Sparkles
Hamsterfan - of course you can come back, always welcome! 11lbs in 2 week is fantastic and sounds like you now have lots of motivation with a wedding to look forward to and a lovely new grandson who'll soon need running round after0 -
Just a quickie as I'm starving and need to make tea.
Doggie update - he slept solidly all evening and then all night on the bed so I could keep an eye on him (my excuse anyway!) and has eaten a little bit and is drinking well. He's having runny poos (due to being swillled out with soapy water after the procedure) but they are happening, and has been for a few small walks and seems almost back to his old self.:j
The vet doesn't think its his food (its much better food than the old stuff he ate) - he did steal a bone from next doors dog and scoff quite a bit of it before I could wrestle it off him. The vet thinks that he had a little build up before but this sort of clogged the hole and led to the quick demise. Apparently, lots of dogs die from this as the symptoms aren't spotted quickly enough - good job I'm paranoid! Fingers crossed that we're almost back to normal now.
Right my stomach is growling - a nice bath, nails need sorting and maybe a face mask later to try to rejuvenate me after my traumatic week:eek:
PS thank you for all of the good wishes - made me feel better!0 -

I would never correct someone, I am terrible with names, but when I googled "Make it so" and found that picture I had to share it!
I felt like such a naughty old woman at the Star Trek prequel movie. I shouldnt have had such a crush on the young Chekov! (Wictor Wictor)0 -

WW good to hear doggy's so much better!
PP hope you feel better soon look after yourself.
Am off to physio later so I'l make myself presentable for fab friday.
Just when I think things can't get any worse.... had a phone call from edest DD, her depression has reared it's head again. Don't really want to go into it on here but it's really hard to hear and know that you can't really help. I'm really worried about some of the things she says but at the same time on top of everything else I'm not sure I can cope with it.
Need to phone DWp again today as the promised form to replace lost one still hasn't turned up. Not sur I cann take much more.Frump to Fab - Solstice Sizzler

Morning all,
WW - glad to hear doggie seems to be on the mend
Lizzie - hope the physio goes ok, sorry to hear DD isn't doing too well, I know it's easy to feel like you're not doing anything but from experience just having people being supportive is a big help so am sure she appreciates you being there x
Well, haven't been coughing/sneezing/going through a rainforest in tissue as much today so am hoping is going. Still have that lovely 'cotton wool' head feeling, which has meant I've got hardly anything done at work this week - but am hear so the phones get answered at least, they will need to make do with that for today
Have realised that it's 5 weeks today until our choir concert (well the first night anyway) and that I will be on film from about 6 different angles and am pretty sure that at the moment will look like a blimp. Am well aware is all my own fault as have had no motivation and basically done sweet fa on the weight loss front this year  So no more excuses, will get myself in gear this weekend and will see if I can at least lose a bit before then and then more before summer. Feel free to kick me as I will probably need it
Also found out on Tues that she wants us to be 'suited and booted' for the first half of the concert and then our t-shirts for the second half. So now need to find some smart black clothes and red 'accents' for it. Only have my work pants which are a bit scruffy at the moment and need replacing anyway - *sighs* doesn't she know I've been trying to buy in colour so don't have any nice black clothes that fit at the moment :rotfl:0
