If that was me, he'd have the game poked somewhere it'd need a proctologist to retrieve it!

I imagine you have a studio flat, or similar, Willow? My first home was one of those.

Love the nails:T - just one question - how do you do housework with the art in place?

I just had a lady come to the door with a H-U-G-E bouquet of flowers from Mr LW.:D:heart:

LL, have you decided what change you want for your hair?

    Carmen x

TBH - I haven't a clue what to do with it - it just looks a mess, straggly, wispy and a total non-colour. Without any slap I look like a ghost.

I really think I need to change my hairdresser. She may be cheap and cheerful but she never really quite cuts the mustard, so it's false economy really.

I think I'll just have to pay a bit more and get a better job done next time. I'll ring one of my friends and see where she gets hers done. Her hair always looks lovely - mind you she has a lot more than I have. :rotfl:

Just back from visiting OH - sat and watched "Hornblower" and then did some puzzles and word games.

I did well with the desk sort out this morning. I may (or may not - depending on how the mood takes me) do a bit more tonight.

The sooner it's done the sooner I can get on with nice things.

Off to do some more stretches and cook dinner.

PS Willow - I think you need to "put your foot down with a firm hand" as we say ooop north. You need a decent night's sleep - especially once you start your job.

It's unacceptable for him to keep you awake like that - sounds like he has a bit of a games addiction there. The better weather is coming soon - drag him out for some fresh air and away from the games.

Many years ago - (many, many) I lived in a studio apartment - when my then boyfriend came to stay I used to find it claustrophobic at times. I used to have a long soak in the bath with a good book just to have some time to myself. Said boyfriend knew better than to interrupt me.

Luckily we had a lovely park nearby and we would decamp to there, take a picnic etc. Living in one room can send you stir crazy after a while.

Willow - I would tell him he could either turn it off at a reasonable hour...... or camp out in the bathroom and stay up till any time of his choosing. He is taking the p+ss. Don't let him. Fab nail work btw:D

Fab wise I've had a good few days. Started logging my food/exercise on a website and found I am eating a lot better than I thought:T Dyed hair, defuzzed (again:mad:) slathered frequently and had a nice shopping trip with my mum where I found a couple of great tops for the summer (in the sales) Holiday on the beach booked too... for July so I now have a target to motivate me

Happy Valentines Day one and all

Well after a pretty rubbish day at work I decided to come home and treat myself to the leftover glass of wine in the bottle and some chocolate and then it will be an early night as I feel really tired and seem to feel hungry too more than usual.

Not sure if its because I'm due on, may well be. Anyway tomorrow's fabbing will be a nice outfit for work and a run after work to cheer myself up and keep the PMT at bay a little more than today

Heel's again tomorrow and keep the ladylike look going on. Might redo the eye make up to make it look a bit heavier in shades nicely blended as its looking a little too light for my colouring at the moment.

Not much else to report apart from I think I'll have a little dessert now to cheer me up some more

Quick post: DH came home with a lovely pot of jasmine in full flower. This evokes special memories for us. The first time we went on holiday to Turkey, we both remember arriving at our hotel in the late evening. The scent of jasmine on the evening airwas amazing. We've been back many, many times.

Hope everyone's having a lovely evening.

    hi all

A lovely valentines day for me as OH suprised me with a lovely charm for my pandora. Had a nice tea and decorated the table with a red cloth and some heart confetti. DS thought it was cool lol.

As far as fabbing went I have managed to cut my nails, file them and also massage my cuticles, so my nails are looking okay at the moment. Will try and get some varnish on them tomorrow and that will be them sorted. Will try and put some handcream on tonight before I go to bed and leave it by the bed to remind me every night.

Tomorrow I will concentrate on a my face. Starting with a facial scrub and then slathering on the moisturiser. I have quite dry skin and can't recall the last time I moisturised:eek:.

As DH takes DS out to clubs on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings I am going to make those nights from 7pm to 8:00pm mine to indulge in weekly regimes. Just need to get sussed what I am doing and when.

I only stay over here, I'll be living with my mum when I start work so I know i'll be getting enough sleep.

I managed to prise him off it for 5 hours and we played uno, he cooked a curry, we watched a bit of TV and now there's a cake in the oven that we made together. That was probably the most we've done together for a few weeks. I really enjoyed it and hope he'll realise that at some point.

That sounds great willow, so glad to hear your day turned out well in the end. I was introduced to Uno (at the most basic level) a few months ago. It's a great game. Hope the cake turned out well!;)
  • I'm glad your day ended on a better note than it had started willow. And your nails look great.

Maisie M, I don't have a pandora bracelet but I think they are gorgeous. What a lovely gift from your OH.

Maman, what a lovely thoughtful gift from your OH. I am not really into spending money for the sake of it, and buying unnecessary gifts, but I do love it when someone puts a bit of effort into a gift that has a personal meaning. So much better than any amount of money being spent on me.

Sezza, I hope your DS has recovered from his nosebleed. Poor lad.

fedupnskint, sounds like the heels are working out for you and that you are definitely fabbing! Well done.

Well done to WW and LW for managing the hair dye. Sorry you have been in so much pain afterwards though.

Its graduation day for my school today, so I have made a bit more of an effort, as I will no doubt be judged by all the parents. After work today I am meant to be going out for dinner, not sure if I can really be bothered though.

Yesterday was just a normal Tuesday for me, a few friends popped over for tea, knitting and a bit of a gossip.

My skin has been feeling incredibly dry recently and no matter how much moisturising I do, it doesn't seem to be helping. I will have to try and sort it out though as its starting to become itchy.

Have a fantastically fabulous day everyone.
