Does anyone drink green tea or any of the other healthy teas? I have tried green tea and fruit teas before, but they just taste strange to me.
In the past, I drank loads of green tea every day, but went off the taste..... it can be a bit bitter!
I then discovered Clipper White Organic tea, which has a much milder taste than green tea:-

Incidently, white tea has the same health benefits and contains the same anti-oxidants as green tea, but to an even greater extent. They come from the same plant, Camellia sinensis, just picked at different stages of growth. Black tea is also the same plant, just fully fermented:-

morning all.
Wasn't on for a few days but have caught up now I think.
Willow - good luck for your interview!
I wore a new dress on Saturday only had a stinker of a cold (still same one!) and because it has a 'boat' neckline and I sneezed so hard I ripped it a bit. Raging as it's lovely but I think I can sew it up - and just try not to sneeze in it!
I also got complimented all weekend long from my future in-laws about how much weight I've lost, which did wonders for the old self-esteem.carpe diem

Hi All
My fabbing plans this morning:
1. Body Brush (I keep forgetting to do this), shower, wash hair.
2. Face - cleanse, tone, moisturise and make-up
3. Going to wear somthing different today - went through my wardrobe and there is stuff I had forgotten about in there - assuming I still fit into it.
My weight loss plans are pretty much out of the window. Need to get back on track.0 -
Good Morning Ladies! ( and Lurkers
)
Well, I am no longer a Spa-Virgin lol! Went to Nirvana Spa last night- with a collegue from work- she got a voucher for a free guest pass as she's a member- and it was lovely! we didn't do any treatments- just used the spa pool ( body massage via water jets? why yes thank-you!) and then the hot stone loungers, was a lovely chilled out evening and I have to admit I'm am feeling really refreshed and upbeat- quite a feat in January I can tell you!
the girly night was really nice too- we ended up watching Bridesmaids- quite funny if a little light on the actual story:p and otherwise had a good catch up and natter a couple of the girls commented on how much "brighter" I am these days which gave me a happy little glow:D some of it is down to weight loss (28 pounds and counting) some of it is looking after myself and taking more care over my appearance but I think most of it is being happier in my own skin, and happy with my life!
to join in with the best features posts:
I have big eyes and they are a nice shape.
I've finally learnt to love my curly locks and after a year of TLC I have shiny healthy curls down to my waist.
I have decent sized Boobs:D
My nails are strong and healthy
I don't have any wrinkles yet and have fairly good skin most of the time!
re the oil cleansing- I use castor and almond oil and I massage my whole face for 20mins or so then run hot water from the tap ( steaming) and soak a flannel then hold over face until cool and wipe I repeat this 3 times- I then use a tiny bit of carrott oil to mositurise.
re the green tea, I was the same with the taste, but started drinking the lemon and ginger tea with a tiny bit of honey, now I tend to sip it through the day without anything else added also like the peppermint tea especially if my stomach isn't feeling too great!
right must get back to the last of the stragglers for Tax Returns!
hope everyone has had a fab weekend!

Happy Monday everyone,
MrsW, your weekend sounds lovely, always nice to have girly time. Sadly mine are far and few between these days
Healthy tea's, I have tried them from time to time and never aquired the tasteMaybe it's because I am a coffee person?
This time of the year I find it difficult to drink plain water, but I have gone back to having hot water with lemon and honey. Unfortunately too much citrus makes my hands stiff and painful!
back soon .....0 -

Morning all - eep lots of fabbing over the weekend, took a while to catch up! For me it included a 3 mile run, a windy walk on the beach, painting my toenails and waging war on my dry skin around my eyes. I've looked all over for castor oil for the oil cleansing and nowhere seems to stock it - any ideas anyone? (Edit to add - I've tried Boots, Superdrug, Co-op pharmacy and Tesco Pharmacy)
To add to LL’s post a few pages back, I’ve often seen celebs say in interviews that they don’t consider themselves particularly beautiful, they just make the best of what they have. Thanks for that post LL, made me feel a bit more confident myself!
PAH – don’t listen to them, keep your hair long if you want it that way! I’m only 29 and couldn’t believe it when a friend said something to me about ‘being on borrowed time' for having her hair long!!! How ridiculous! Also, to add to what everyone else has said, your hair is a gorgeous colour J
Callisto – I sometimes drink fruit/peppermint teas when I’m on a health kick as they have fewer calories because they have no milk in! Depending on the flavour I do sometimes add a little sugar and it does help. I can’t stand Rooiboos (sp? Redbush!) tea though Adelight, way too delicate I think!
Loving seeing everyone's good points and it's nice to see that they're all different, showing that everyone is beautiful in their own way! I had a friend of a friend ask for my number at the wknd purely because he'd seen my FB profile pic so that was a nice little confidence booster! Here are my fave bits of myself:
- Very tall with very long legs
- Boobs are small but perfectly formed
- Flat stomach
- Big juicy lips
My skin's terrible at the mo though so I'm really trying to pay attention to my cleansing routine this week. Going to paint my nails tonight during CorrieHave a 'fab' day all x

Bitsy aww, what a little sweetie - she doesn't look as if she'd hurt a fly, does she?:D
Ugh, I have either a cold sore or an ulcer starting on my lip.:( Have bunged some Anbesol on it, and await further developments. Mr LW's on normal hours all this week, so I'll just have to manage with whatever we have in the house til at least the weekend, so I'm glad I always keep a tube of Anbesol to hand.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Good one! Beats my Dunmer Battlemage any day!

Hmmm little sweetie isn't in my good books today. This morning she appeared with another mouse and proceeded to drip blood all over our new bedroom carpet :eek: needless to say it's only down to my vast experience of blood stains each month (sorry for the TMI) that we have avoided any permanent stain and killer cat has avoided being dispatched :rotfl:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Hi all,
Adelight - I'm the same, I have a kind of mental picture of people on here from the way they post, is interesting with the descriptions to see whether I was close or notOh and I really wish I had the long legs :rotfl:Am very impressed with the massive cooking marathon - have had a ridiculously lazy weekend consisting of 'what's in the freezer already?'
Evilsquid - go you on standing up to the takeaway, we order a bit from Just eat now and it is easier but I think some of them use it as an excuse to take advantage and change the order - thinking you won't bother ringing up to complain!
Rummer - good luck with the healthy eating plan. If it's mainly snacking that's the problem then are you actually snacking because you're hungry or is it habit/boredom/emotional eating instead? If so maybe think about specific times/triggers and have things in place to distract you or to replace it. Eg I used to be really bad at snacking in front of a movie so now I do my nails while I watch one - keeps my hands busy and can't really snack without smudging them
Maman - your theatre outfit sounds lovely. I have a similar problem with nails, my fingernails grow really fast but the toenails don't - I dropped something on my big toe in July last year and still have black on the nail where it hasn't grown out yet  Definately no sandals for me!
LL - bless your OH, I'm feel like I've lost half the month as well, can't believe it's Feb next week!
Callisto - I will be sending him round if it's not back by next weekend, just have to think of a good excuse though, it's a dvd so don't really need for anything 'official'. Hope your appointment goes ok x
Bitsy - I have the exact same 'leave it to itself' attitude with skincare and am lucky to have quite good skin that lets me get away with that. But yes, am thinking that the luck won't last as I get a bit older so must put a wee bit of effort in.Oh, and your kitty is just adorable - it's always the innocent looking ones you gotta watch out for though :rotfl:
Elfen - that's great on the getting ID'd! I still do now and again, I remember being at the supermarket getting some beer in for my 30th party and the woman ID'd me - I nearly hugged her :rotfl:
Bratz - am so sorry, know I should laugh but that must have been one heck of a sneezeGlad you got some nice compliments as well though.
Mrs W - spa sounds fabDon't think have had a proper girlie night in for ages - most of my girlie friends are where I used to live. Did try and arrange a few things with OH's friends girlfriends - they are nice lasses but don't have a great deal in common apart from the fellas.
Tete - I am rather jealous of your list - would kill for long legs and a flat tumSounds like a great fabbing weekend!
Anyways, not a bad weekend. My ebay items sold last night (though of course the person who bought the big item hasn't paid yet and wasn't trekking to the post office without that so will have to post them all tomorrow ) Have been looking at things to sell on ebay and got some more bits coming in from the matched betting and some mystery shops so doing ok on that frontBeen a bit lazy on the fabbing, am going to get some things done tonight I think - need to do a deep condition on my hair and redo my nails at the very least.
