I agree with Tete - E is for Exercise = Energy my absolute favourite way of feeling for me!

I am finding Exercise = Exhaustion atm! My morning gym visits are making me incredibly sleepy in the afternoons, even though I can do the workout fine at the time. Am I doing something wrong (pretty sure I am eating enough but not sure how much water I should need) or is it just that my body needs to adjust?

I am with you on that. I might feel slightly pumped up after the initial work out (like my 20 mins zumba express) but today i feel tired and I want to go back to bed.....:o

  • Lots of interesting posts since I last was on - there's so much on here at the moment its hard to keep up.!
I'm looking into ways to make a bit of cash listed some things on ebay, did try looking at the matched bets thing but didn't really understand it and am also toying with becoming a mystery shopper, although am a bit daunted by the need to register as self employed ( it can't be that hard though can it??)

Well it looks like my counselling is coming to an end final appointment is in a couple of weeks so only one more session left - not sure if its done anygood really, although I am feeling more positive so maybe it has. I come away thinking that it feels like we talk about irrelevant things really but I seem to feel better for it. Just hope it continues when I'm no longer going.

Still struggling with the shoulder, a bit of gentle exercise is all I can manage at the moment.
Am keeping up with my existent fabbing but not much more ATM.
Anyway must go doggy needs a walk.:)

    Morning all,

Bitsy/Carmen - you are making me very glad that my kitty is a house cat so I don't get lovely little presents. In fact she's turned into a complete wuss in recent years, a few weeks ago there was a MASSIVE spider on the bedroom floor - I was hiding on the bed as I'm not a big fan (and did I mention it was MASSIVE!!) she came in, I told her to to get it - she sat on the floor, lazily watched it as it almost ran over her foot and then jumped on the bed and curled up to go to sleep

LL - good news that the chest pains are not anything more serious, hopefully now things are getting a little more sorted for you they will disappear.

LW - my OH has Skyrim, it does look very pretty - I was thinking about swiping it but I will just end up losing half my life to it. We both used to play WOW for years, we were quite addicted, but I just don't have the time free now. OH has been trying out Star Wars TOR over xmas and really enjoyed it but think he is going to have to stop now he's back at uni. Also Bitsy, I played all the Lego games, loved Batman and Harry Potter - got a wee bit annoyed at Indiana Jones - too much jumping (and for me falling off things lol!)

Rummer - am sure the scales will go down next week, don't let it get you down x

Bratz - I only had a wee giggle :) hope the dress is saveable though! My mum broke a rib coughing once, very nasty, and not a lot they can do for it either. I would say heating is a necessity, could you maybe take some from the savings and then have a go at one of the money-making challenges to make it back - I know LL and me are on a few so if you want any suggestions feel free to poke.

Anyways, got a bit of fabbing done last night but not as much as I wanted and nails are still a mess. Moneymaking is going ok, put some bets on last night and looking at some things to sell on ebay, also booked another mystery shop on Sat. Have a few ideas humming round so feeling a bit more positive there.

*Nods* It's something I have to be extremely careful about with lupus; one of the main things you're supposed do for yourself with this illness is pacing yourself.... something, I have to say, I have yet to get the hang of, as I still tend to go at everything like the proverbial bull at a gate on "good" days, then spend the next week hardly able to do a thing.

You can always talk to us here, if you'd like to.:o I know it's not the same as face-to-face, and you have to wait for a reply, but I for one will be happy to listen.:o

Mr LW has promised he'll help me wash my hair tonight.:o It could certainly use it, and we have his pal coming over for cider and PC gaming tomorrow evening, so I want to at least look clean and tidy.;)

willow ((hugs)) you'll be fine!! don't worry about it, keep looking for other jobs to keep you occupied.

    lizzie
of course come talk here if you ever want to

bunberry the total protein is probably the easiest as it has the whey for fast digestion after exercise and the other slower digesting proteins to keep you going later on. that's annoying, they were in stock yesterday, hopefully they restock soon.

the_cat are you over doing it or do you think you will get used to it after a while? people who exercise in the morning tend to sleep better at night, maybe your body just wants to go to bed too early :D

I made the worst, thickest smoothie ever this morning. 2 kiwis and 2 cups of spinach blended into carrot and broccoli juice :rotfl: soooo gross and lumpy, but i didn't want to waste it. Defuzzing, face mask, hair mask and nail painting in a mo. Just browsing phones atm. That makes me sound so extravagant but I've been switching between back up phones belonging to various friends and family members for the last few months and really need to get a new phone sometime soon. Don't suppose anyone can recommend something? Preferably dual core and clutz proof(I broke a motorola defy!!)?

Apart from my usual fabbing, today I went to have a makeover at the benefit counter in boots and have to say I looked fab coming from there. I hope you are all sitting down because at the age of 37 I ......now own make up:D. They booked me another makeover for a month. It was such an enjoyable experience and was put under no pressure to buy.

EVOO about to commence with kids bath time ;)

I forgot to mention that I didn't find the Lancome Primer that amazing and I confess I have since passed it on to my mum to try. Might suit her more. Whilst decluttering my make up-come-junk drawer I discovered some anti grease moisturisers. Have realised why I never continued to use them......total waste of time and just made my make up slide off my face. So with regret I shall be binning them unless I can find someone to pass them on to. I also discovered some forgotten eyeshadows and host of other things :o Have now tidied it up so shouldnt get in a state again.

adelight I confess I am not enjoying the sound of your juices/smoothies. You're braver than me with some of your combinations  cant recommend a phone for you as I am a technophobe when it comes to stuff like that :o

Some of them are a bit dodgy but i can't bare to waste them. Most are surprisingly nice though! OH really likes the carrot+red cabbage+orange/apple juice and he has very normal tastes :D
