Off to do a MAJOR bit of pampering at the minute, it's the OH's birthday tomorrow, so it's his special night tonight!

    Have fun ;)

So I have mentioned before about my "leave it to look after itself" attitude to body and face and how I can't get away with that as I creep towards 40 and I noticed my forehead lines this morning. Not interested in Botox or the like not do I expect no signs of ageing. However time has now come to set aside daily time for my Eva Frasers facial workout. Once I have this down I can do it without needing to concentrate using a mirror. Wish me luck, I find using one side of my face really hard :o

callisto & bitsy green tea is definitely an acquired taste, i didn't like it much at first but now i'm hooked and can have 10 cups in a day! Clipper brand is the best imo but then Tetleys tastes more like black tea to me (which i hate), there are also green tea blends with black tea available. Rooibos/red tea is super healthy too, have you tried that?
You could try leaving talk over the grease stain overnight then washing it wish washing up liquid?

LW your hair sounds awesome, very unique.

fedupandskint wow well done on all the fabbing. Be proud of your curvy bum!

maman i steam my face over a bowl of boiling water for a few mins, rub loads of oil in for ~5 minutes then wipe the oil off with a flannel dipped in the now just-hot bowl of water. i think i rub for much longer than most people, occasionally i even do a second cleanse after wiping off the first lot of oil.

I've done a little bit of fabbing here and there today (exfoliated, vit c serum and exercise) but mostly had a lazy day in bed with OH. I've just had a massive cook-a-thon, in an hour I made healthy carrot cake and banana bread, totally unhealthy chocolate cookies, bread dough and seven portions of pasta with lentils and veg sauce. Phew! Well, that's plenty of lunches and OH's sugar fix for the week done! I need to put the bread in the oven but then it'll all be over.
Today I bought the Bobbi Brown Sand Tortoise Shell eye palette off ebay. It's sooo nice and exactly the eye shadow colours that will suit me- hopefully it'll tempt me into using eye shadow again.
This week I'm going to wear tinted lip balm, finally complete my toiletries inventory, document another day of food and take part in fashion friday.

I recently bought all 3 Clean & Lean books and have started following the plans - it's more of a lifestyle change rather than a diet. I'm loving it so far, especially eating more fish and eggs :D

The recommended Bodyism supplements are not exactly cheap; but because I want to take my health & wellbeing seriously I've purchased their Body Brilliance (tastes yummy in shakes or with yoghurt), Probiotic Fibre and Body Serenity (supposed to be good for de-stressing).

i didn't buy them purely because of the cost. do they last a while thou? i can justify them if you get use out of them.

Does anyone drink green tea or any of the other healthy teas? I have tried green tea and fruit teas before, but they just taste strange to me. I have seen suggestions of adding honey or lemon, does this help?

i have lots :) i've got the Neals Yard detox tea, jasmine green tea, jasmine silver needles, chamomile, valerian (this STINKS thou!), one called "night time" that has peppermint in and the detox tea from joliebox on the go atm. they definitely are an acquired taste. if youre new to them don't let them brew for very long and try them weak first. let them brew for longer when you are used to them.

Oh, while I remember saw on the Freebies board the other day that if you go on the Clipper tea website can sign up for a free sample pack of green tea. Good for people who might want to try without shelling out for it :)

Ooh, I drink green tea by the gallon! If you're not used to green/herbal teas, don't think of it as tea, or your brain will fool your body into expecting a "breakfast tea" kind of drink. (Been out tonight, and had a couple of vodkas so not expressing myself well, but I hope you get what I'm trying to say). I don't add anything because I like tart tastes, but if you find them too tart, adding honey would be a good idea. Fwiw, I drink breakfast tea (ie "ordinary" black tea) with lemon rather than milk.:o

We've been to the cinema (with my CEA card, so only aid for one ticket):money: to see "Coriolanus". Thoroughly enjoyed it, went to the local Wetherspoons after, which although not a brilliant pub, no-one knows us, so I don't have to try and socialise.

Off to play Skyrim on the PC for a bit now (Mr LW's latest fixation) *rolleyes*:D

Bitsy, it's getting embarassing! I'm 28 and I look 18! Mr E loves it though! Although, we did measure my boobs and his waist and my boobs are bigger. And I've lost weight cos my jeans fit better :D

Elfin, trust me enjoy it because in another 10 years time you'll be wanting to look like you did at 28 :rotfl:

LW for your viewing pleasure, my killer cat :Dhttp://thehamsterwheeloflife.blogspot.com/2011/08/killer-queen.html she's only a wee bit bigger, she's very petite but she definately punches above her weight. And happily she continues with her ruthless assassinations. This morning I had the pleasure of picking up mouse entrails, a mouse tail and the poor creatures head from our bedroom floor. What's more disturbing is I never even heard her do it last night

i didn't buy them purely because of the cost. do they last a while thou? i can justify them if you get use out of them.

Body Brilliance comes in a 500g pack; Bodyism website says "20 servings per package" but I think they've incorrectly copy pasted this from other products. Instructions on the packet advise 10g per serving for 50 servings, which makes the product £1.20 per serving. Once I'm finished with this I'll probably try out PHD Diet Whey - higher protein content, slightly less carbs, and only a tiny bit more sugar/fat, probably nowhere near enough to affect results. PHD is much cheaper however, currently available for £42.99 for 2kg from monstersupplements.com with PHD CLA supplements.

Ultimate Clean Probiotic Fibre is 200g, so 20 servings. I'm only going to take this for the first month to give my body a really good kick start, then once I've cleaned up my diet, I may ditch it because I'll be getting my fibre from other foods I eat.

As for Body Serenity... if it works, I'll keep taking it. My job can be very stressful sometimes, and I haven't yet come across any alternatives to this product. It is the most expensive of the three, but I'm ok with that if it really does help in reducing stress.

Will report back on how I get on in the future!
