    if i rember rightly theres a film with john cleese in it and every where he goes people ask him how is wife and kids are and in the end he shouts i dont have a wife and ive no kids thats what i feel like doing sometimes lol (except the kids part of course)

    You have children with her and still you see her as a girlfriend? Thats insulting to her to say the least!

    she calls me her boyfreind weve been together for near on ten years i do see a future with her and i would like to marry her but im waiting for our tenth anniversery to pop the question im taking her back to where she met me say what you want im thck skinned

    You've been with someone ten years and you still worry when someone asks "hows the wife", jeez dude, wake up a little.
    No one cares how you feel particularly about what different people may or may not call the bird you've been with for 10 years, no one but you.
    So either marry her and shut up, or tell everyone anything you like.
    Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.
