i had another meeting this morning... large group one this time .. one guy was refused toilet as they would not let him use it ....diabetic... toilet was 5 feet away.:..in the group meeting my eyes were opened a bit some advisers are treating their claiments with disgust.....one guy has suicidal tendancies and no one wants to or is able to care.....is there any one i can report this too as i think he needs help big time....i thought it was bad for me...there are people in a worse position than me...it seems the exodus from the work programme has made it a lot worse for some claimants...advisers seem to be treating them with contempt!
Someone needs to remind these clueless idiots about their duty of care to people and health & safety.

You need to raise the issue & complain.

The toilet comment is a joke I hope

I would say to the JC if they want you there for an hour or more they have to let you use one

There is a malevolence within the whole system which enables a lot of JC staff to show a kind of subtle snottiness that they know can't be challenged or proved

The gap between the reality and the theory of what can be done for job seekers is very wide indeed and this is why these ridiculous situations arise where basic respect is violated and claimants just have to put up with it

I have an advisor who openly admits the limits of the system and is very reasonable in the way he treats me

I know of course his days are numbered and I will go into me JC one day to be told "Nick has gone and has been replaced - meet your new advisor Mr. Jobsworth"

They are in the staff areas though aren't they? Normally accessible by a security card/code.

So you asked to see the manager? Asked why no one was allowed access to the toilets? No?
