I asked my advisor on the post WP regime today why we were not told to make the most of the 2 year work programme and warned about the harassment regime at the end of the 2 years - I told him I would have signed off half way thru the WP if I'd known this crap was coming up
He said "we're improvising this now - the reason you were not told is because no-one knew - we assumed everyone would easily get work out of the WP because it was costing so much money - we now are finding everyone is coming off it and we are having to think on our feet - the whole thing is a disaster"0 -
I think many try to make the most our of the work programme but it's still a failure and still something that the businesses use to make a profit on as opposed to really helping people on
They send people on many pointless courses, claim to CV help and use Learndirect to aid their profits only0 -
Well I have had a call from my provider didn't answer it, but I can guess they are going to say that I have to attend and threaten all sorts of sanctions when I refuse. I will point blank tell them that threat of sanction means nothing to me as I only get credits only. And have really nothing to sanction.0

i must write to 3 employers per week.
phone at least 4 employers per week.
check ujm 7 times per week.
ask family.
look in papers.
visit 3 sites everyday.
contact 4 agencies per week.
they seemed friendly enough and i was told not to expect my next appointment until september.
