As part of my post WP punishment I'm now on a course run by yet another outside company called Training Associates which is every day for 3 weeks including seeing the JC advisor afterwards a couple of times a week ( I have to go there after the class tomorrow)

The guy on the course is nice and its a pleasant building and well run - they bring subway sandwiches in every lunch - so it could be worse

the actual course is terribly boring tho - they say things like "is it tension relieving or goal achieving?" and "think outside the box"

    oh please

there are people there that do not speak a WORD of English (and I mean not one word) But that's another story

it's going to be a long three weeks

glad your daily signing is over Leroy - well done for not punching someone! Hope the next torture will be if not a waste of time at least something that is not a total downer

the worst I can say about this is that its dull and useless - but its well run and the staff are very pleasant

it was the Work Programme that failed and yet we are treated like the criminals

Im starting something like this tomorrow from 9.30-4.30 wed thursday friday. then the same 3 days the week after :(

My JSA advisor allowed me to be excused for signing on the 15th though.

They're making it up as they go along, advisors & offices around country saying & doing different things.

i always had to show a job log to my adviser on the wp. when you go back to the jc they will change your jsa agreement and probably put more requirements on you. they may not though. i have 37 on me but another person i know only has 11.

if i get sent on something i hope mine clashes with signing also coz being excused from signing would mean i would be getting something out of it.

When I was on the wp I never showed anything to the adviser there but I did show it at the jobcentre. As after all the jobcentre would've sanctioned me for not doing enough and not the wp.

here the jobcentre left it to the provider. i never had to show anything to the jobcentre while on the wp. my wp adviser used to take the p. i would arrive for jobsearch and have to provide a full job log and then at the end of the session i would have to provide another sheet. so i clearly exceeded the minimum required and yet if anyone ever said i dont have either of the mentioned sheets with jobs listed they would be threatened with a sanction.

Could you fail to attend MWA if you got a hard coded letter from MWA Provider detailing Placement details and start date and time. But no Placements were available and via phone they gave you new details??

Using this section from MWA Guidance
    Sanction regime
    41. MWA participation becomes mandatory when the provider issues the
claimant with a notice in writing containing details of their placement and what
    they are required to do.

My provider tried that with me a threat of sanction last time they rang me. As my circumstances had changed from when I left and when I had to sign back on after a period of work. Infact they rang me last week a call I ignored guess they'll try to get me to re engage with them again sooner or later, something I will not do. Maybe I should write them a letter withdrawing consent to ring me.
