Work programme providers receive an attachment fee for each person referred, they have already received hundreds of millions of pounds in attachment fees alone.
It is the outcome payments that are not recoverable if a WP client does not consent to information being shared with third-parties when/if that client secures employment.
Sign the form or not sign the consent form if you have no job at the end of the 2 years they get NO ££We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
They get a tiny amount of cash like £400 per person when they start the wp and a lot more depending on where you have come from and how hard it is seen to get you a job but since the WP do not get jobs for people they are panicing now. Shame that.0

The problem is, if that Community Action Programme gets rolled out nationally like its supposed to be doing this year, if you're not in work after 2 years on WP you'll be looking at 30 hours a week of unpaid community work for up to 6 months.!
