Work programme providers receive an attachment fee for each person referred, they have already received hundreds of millions of pounds in attachment fees alone.

It is the outcome payments that are not recoverable if a WP client does not consent to information being shared with third-parties when/if that client secures employment.
They get a tiny amount of cash like £400 per person when they start the wp and a lot more depending on where you have come from and how hard it is seen to get you a job but since the WP do not get jobs for people they are panicing now. Shame that.

Sign the form or not sign the consent form if you have no job at the end of the 2 years they get NO ££ :)

The problem is, if that Community Action Programme gets rolled out nationally like its supposed to be doing this year, if you're not in work after 2 years on WP you'll be looking at 30 hours a week of unpaid community work for up to 6 months.!

    !!!!!!!

Where does it say that online?

How do we do our 35 hours job search whilst doing this unpaid labour for 30 hours a week?

What kind of work will this be?

I've edited last post with a link for info ;-)

It's already being trialed in some areas (cant remember where off the top of my head)

I'm guessing they wont expect you to do 35 hours job search if you get sentenced to CAP, but you never know with those ...

I am no way doing community work at all - thats not going to get me a job in accounts.

What morons come up with ideas.

Make it illegal to descriminate against the unemployed and some of us may get a job.
