A guy I know had previously been made redundant from being a lecturer in social sciences. Anyway, they were having him doing all sorts of things to do with literacy and numeracy and he didnt have any type of problems with either of these. He got really fed up with it and went to live with a family member in France.0

I would operate in two dimensions: do what is right for you, world one, and do what you have to do to qualify for benefits end of. If they are actually helpful great!#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.
Reading whatever books I want to the rescue!:money::beer[/B

The one I went to half of the staff would have failed the literacy test, they were incredibly thick. One of the ones who left still offers 'redudeancy' training on his personal website.0

One thing A4e Chesterfield don't like is sweaty, muddy mountain bikers turning up for appointments, I'm in and out in 5mins. They told me I should use the bus service, But I tell them they wont give me a ticket and let me pay later, But they are welcome to send me a taxi for collection and return.
My fortnightly appointments are now Monthly.

We were given the dreaded forms to sign - I was going to refuse consent but then they said they couldn't give me my train fare back unless I signed - is that correct? I had to sign as I wanted the money back...
What BS that person gave you. Its a shame that the vast majority of the workers at these places are real scum buckets, made worse and vindictive by the greedy powers above them. The only forms you'd have to sign would be a) the fire register (and you could put an X in that for all it matters), and b) the document for payment of expenses.
You do not, and should not, sign the waiver form. If you have then personaly I would remove consent immediately in writing to them before they abuse advantage of that right you've waivered0 -

Is that everyday for 5 weeks? I'd die of boredom doing basic stuff like that! All so unnecessary for most people, it's just another way for them to rake the £ in.
Plus making people do maths/literacy tests (esp if someone has qualifications in them) is silly.
I had my first WP appt today, was a total waste of time, we had to sit in a group and have a presentation which really didn't give us much information and were then given another appt later this month which I presume is a 1:1.
