erm get it in writing? Easy! OR just apply for EVERYTHING and ANYTHING you see and see what they say about that!
if i ask for it in writing they will get more stroppy no doubt. they used to print out an action plan that i had to sign but they stopped doing that ages ago. i am going to apply for everything and when i am still out of work like you said that is when they will deny it was them who told me to do it.

Surely if they do not give you an action plan its your word against theirs for anything that they want you to do? How foolish of them.
I have everything in writing including my action plan review thing for my next meeting on the 25th December! LOL

they just type it into the computer what has been discussed. i realise alot of their threats are very shaky but like alot of people i dont want the hassle or stress. they know this and that is why they do it to people.

I can tell you they do not do anything like that to me at all.

I was so looking forward to my appt on the 25th as they are so stupid and booked a lot of people to go in that day.

i have found the more i stand up to mine the nastier they get. they put me on a daft course a while ago which was only one afternoon a week fortunately. she asked me how it was. i gave an honest answer(it was of no use). she didnt like that and started getting nasty saying you've got to do this and you've got to do that.

I have never been on a course or anything at all but I see people sitting at the pc's doing something called AIMS which is a numeracy thing - I find that funny!

when i say course i just mean something they dont have to pay for that is of no use. i suspect alot of why they send people on them is to release pressure on their appointment schedule and to look like they are doing something.

Oh yes they have told me they have no £ for anything like training unless offered to them for free from someone or some meaningless thing like one I over heard 'how to look for a job without using a computer'!!

The reason the WPs want to throw you on any course they can get away with, no matter how pointless, is they claim money from the government, several hundred, for every one you attend
