What age is it that people ar eligable for pension credit is it 65 or 67?
The jobcentre are stupid, they know as well as anybody that it will be exceptionally difficult for someone over 50 to get a job in the present climate. The only way they will get something is if they are in a very specialist field where the employer cant get anyone younger or if a mate gives them a job.
Employers want young cheap labour who they can push about and flog to death not older/elderly people. Yes we all know B and Q do employer older workers but they hardly have any jobs going either and what they have is at manager level.0 -
