    .

What age is it that people ar eligable for pension credit is it 65 or 67?
The jobcentre are stupid, they know as well as anybody that it will be exceptionally difficult for someone over 50 to get a job in the present climate. The only way they will get something is if they are in a very specialist field where the employer cant get anyone younger or if a mate gives them a job.
Employers want young cheap labour who they can push about and flog to death not older/elderly people. Yes we all know B and Q do employer older workers but they hardly have any jobs going either and what they have is at manager level.

The WP is not a course its just a loads of pointless appointments where they tell you there is nothing they can do for you.

i'm not sure how old you have to be to qualify for pension credit now as they are gradually raising the age. it is definitely over 60 and well under 65. probably 61 or 62.

the one i go to has decided its a good idea to get tough. of course if anyone questions it they say its because the jobcentre told us we have to. of course the clued up among us know better. according to my adviser they are going to get worse in the new year. one funny thing was after giving me loads of s**t she finished off by wishing me a merry xmas even though what she had just done was ruin my xmas.

in my case they spend alot of time blaming us for our situation. apparently its all my fault that i dont get many interviews from sending out the cv she made for me. apparently i am applying for the wrong type of jobs(ones i am qualified for) and that is why i am not getting any joy. that is why i am now having to apply for jobs i am not qualified for. they also make us do the odd pointless course like the one i will be doing in january.
