i believe everyone has recieved a letter telling them about what would happen if they were sanctioned. it is just a coincidence that he has got another letter saying he will now be there weekly.
No the letter dont say weekly just that he has to go there this week and was there last week but only has had monthly meetings every month for a year. Only after emailing the person he sees there they tell him its everyone is getting a letter telling them to come in (no word of it being weekly)

Its not really coincidence as the letters apart from the appointment are worded the same stating about sanctions and the like - as if they copied it.

I know he has to send a CV to himself and then save it and then delete it but who would think to do all that? I bet they do not and they haven't suggested it so I will tell him not to mention it and only apply for jobs where he has an online account.

Job log sheet? Is that what you do? How many are you meant to apply for whilst there?
yeah, i normally used my disc but the last time i was there i discovered i was no longer allowed. she asked me if i had my cv still attached to any emails in hotmail and i said yes. if i hadnt then i dont know what she would have done. i find it odd how they find peoples discs a risk but downloading files from attachments in emails not a risk.
yes we get a job log sheet when we arrive. you do as many as you can in the time you have. i would say 4 and above would be enough for them. that is assuming of course the adviser isnt a total c***.

dwp and wp providers are seperate. the letter about what sanctions people could face came from dwp. if you look near the bottom it says this is for information only, theres no need to take action. letters from a provider may mention the threat of sanctions if you dont do as required but it really is just coincidence that both these letters arrived at the same time.

ok will tell him he will get a job log and as he has no idea as they wont tell him what form it takes to act dumb. He applies for about 30 jobs a week so 4 wont be hard. I just do not see what good it will do him, you or anyone.

the jobsearch session may only last 1 hour. yes if unsure just play dumb and ask. if a letter doesnt say its for a jobsearch session then it will most likely be for a one on one appointment with his adviser. if that is the case take evidence of jobs applied for just incase. this just means a job log with everything recorded.

No he emailed them today asking what the appointment was for and they said it was a weekly job search. Maybe he should have just ignored the letter haha

He has his next actual appointment in September.

I am not currently on the work programme but heading to one soon I go in once a week for 1 hour will this continue when on the work programme or will it be 6/7 hours a day job searching that would humalite me and do my confidence more in.
