companies dont usually like channeling money from profitable parts of the business to loss making parts of the business. you usually find they sell or close down the loss making part.Yes we know that but normally the providers do a lot more in their business than just the WP. Look up your one online and see what they do.0 -
Who says they are? Surely they are making money with all the people that they are getting back into work!! Everyone can get a hardship payment then can they? How much is it? As much as JSA?donnajunkie wrote: »yes probably but you said if people get sanctioned they get nothing at all. i was just correcting that.
Why then am I signing on if I can apply for a non stop hardship payment?0 -
does anyone know if they ask for proof of your job searches? only i the majority of mine are done the companies websites or over the phone...0

i doubt this very much. the jobcentre dont expect them to pay travel out of their profits. the paperwork no doubt gets forwarded to dwp every month or every 6 months and they get a payment in return to cover whatever the total is. why do you think when people question why they have to show a proof they always say its the jobcentres rules. They do not claim the travel back from the DWP. The payments they get for us on the WP are meant to cover all their costs.
They ask for a receipt (here we go again) for accounting reasons.
as far as the receipt point goes i suggest you read everything i posted in relation to the point today again.0 -

I will declare myself bankrupt and no need to sign on then as all the £ I get goes to pay my bills. No bills no need to sign then I am no better or worse than I am now.donnajunkie wrote: »well its upto you but refusal will no doubt mean a sanction.0 -
if they havent told you what it is then we cant tell you obviously. it could be anything related to helping you get a job. this means anything from interview techniques to doing something like a cscs card.burnage_red wrote: »hi all, first post. i was sent on this programme yesterday and today standguide called and said they are sending me on a course tomorrow morning. any idea what i can expect from this course as the woman on the phone didn't know, which doesn't exactly fill me with confidence, so so any information would be appreciated.0 -
well like i said you need to realise thats better than being hassled alot like some people are.I do not get asked at the WP for any evidence only the email I send once a week that they copy onto my electronic file. They are really not interested. All I get is 'there is something round the corner'0
