Yes we know that but normally the providers do a lot more in their business than just the WP. Look up your one online and see what they do.

yours is advertising for new staff? i have heard mine is making staff redundant due to their lack of success overall.

They do not claim the travel back from the DWP. The payments they get for us on the WP are meant to cover all their costs.

They ask for a receipt (here we go again) for accounting reasons.

it will be 1 of 2 things. we will either be sent onto the community work scheme that the government was talking about starting a while ago or we will be back with the jobcentre for 13 weeks and then refered back to the work programme for another 2 years.

hi all, first post. i was sent on this programme yesterday and today standguide called and said they are sending me on a course tomorrow morning. any idea what i can expect from this course as the woman on the phone didn't know, which doesn't exactly fill me with confidence, so so any information would be appreciated.

I wont be doing either as it's a mega fail and I will make sure the gov know this if I am still here in 12 mths time. Will prefer to be dead if I am.

when i signed on a few weeks ago i pointed out what a waste of money it was for them to ask for evidence and then for me to go along to the provider the following day to be asked for evidence again. whats the point in paying 2 people to do the same job?

I do not get asked at the WP for any evidence only the email I send once a week that they copy onto my electronic file. They are really not interested. All I get is 'there is something round the corner'

I agree but WP providers aren't set up to do signing.

my jc doesnt seem to follow any set pattern. some people get asked all the time and some only get asked every now and then.
as the providers are policing our jobsearch they could save money at the jobcentre by excusing us from signing while we are on the work programme. idiots will say but you need a legal declaration with your signature. in response to that i would say how come people didnt have to sign on while on new deal?

yes probably but you said if people get sanctioned they get nothing at all. i was just correcting that.
