There was a live debate on Radio 5 and BBC news last year all about the WP and one of the guests was in charge of the umbrella organisation that controls all the WP providers and he said the WP cant work as its dependent on job vacancies. Well no !!!! Sherlock, welcome to the real world.

Govt's always think they can get people back to work when there are no jobs because we are all skiving.
There are job vacanices but the WP have nothing to do with them and can not get you an interview.

there might be plenty of job vacancies where you are but believe me in the North East they are few and far between.

On the direct gov website for my area this week there have been 15 jobs advertised and 6 of those are self employed sales positions

Obviously I use loads of other sites too but even those aren't posting many new adverts per day.

Its makes you wonder why the Govt think its such a great scheme, when everyone else can see its a waste of time.

More likely they know perfectly well that it's a pile of poo.

But it's a pile of poo that their mates hope to make money from. As soon as these non-providers say they need more money the government will give them some. Especially as the Jobcentres are being closed in order to leave the government with no choice.

Then, one way or another, these non-providers can give some money back to politicians and civil servants.

They are basically doing what the Jobcentre should be doing.
