If you get sanctioned from what I gather you get nothing at all. No NI contrubtion either (unless someone else tells me otherwise)

If someone can't get JSA say because they have a pension or something they still sign on to get NI contributions and then still have to go to the WP

If you get sanctioned why would you sign off? When or if you claim again you may just start back where you left off.
ah I didn't realise that either. I've never been sanctioned or even know anyone who has been.

WP providers get around £1500 when you get a job and if you stay in employment for 12 months they get a bonus of upto £15000!
only if they can prove you have got a job. If you withdraw consent from them to contact anyone or speak to anyone about you and you refuse to tell them where your new job is how are they going to prove that you have started.

I'm definitely not going to tell my WP who I'm working for when I get a job because I have heard of at least 3 people (2 irl and one on MSE) who have ended up losing their new job because the WP have hassled their new employer so much for them to complete the forms they have been sent so the WP can get paid.

If you go on the DWP website section on the WP it lists what it expects from WP providers and lists the payments they receive. I was Googling to find out what others were experiencing on the WP and found it in the search results.

I think you will find that when you sign up for the WP you are giving them the consent, so you will have already done so.

No you sign a consent form, or not sign it

At ANY stage you can withdraw that consent!

More than the minimum wage the employee would have earned, and more than they'd have got on JSA in a good few years.
Wanted a job, now have one.

yes but you have the right to withdraw consent at any time and they HAVE to abide by it by law.

The second I find out I have a job I will be sending them a copy of this letter (edited to match my circumstances) and will be refusing to have any more dealings with them unless I am unfortunate enough to lose my job and have to claim benefits again.

    this?

    http://www.dwp.gov.uk/docs/the-work-programme.pdf

page 7 number two says £400 when you join, £1200 when you get a job and £5000 if oyu keep that job (not sure how anyone can stop redundancy!!)

So that is not £15k!! Not one person is stated there at £15k bonus!

I've given them permission as I figured if I refused I'd be bullied (can go either way, they might have left me be) - once I get a job though they are getting a letter rescinding all rights to contact my employer. Though I night tell them somewhere totally false to give them a bit of hope, lol

If they help me in some way they can claim it, if they don't they can get stuffed.

No thats not the one I saw, if you were long term unemployed, one of the worst cases on JSA, the bonus was near 15k
