Ok, over by 170 cal today.... and yesterday - did not even bother completing that food diary after the chocolate brownie, had no idea how many cal that was....

What I need (apart from a big kick in the butt to put me back on the straigh and narrow) are some easy cheap and cheerful breakfast ideas... they can NOT involved English sausages of any kind as I hate them ALL (yukkk - sorry).

    Anyone?

cal count diets are vigorous, a female needs approx 2000 cals per day on a healthy diet GDA.

my point being if you suddenly starve the body the body will store fat and water from your normal pre diet cal intake, what happens when you lapse is you add the lbs almost instantly due to the body taking as much as it needs to store the water and fat for later because the body's insulin levels drop dramatically.

cal count diets are no good unless you excersize almost 2-4 hours a day, and eat at different intervals most days to prevent hunger.

what happens when you finish the diet and your at your goal is that youll find youll add more weight to yourself and gain it at a rate of knotts, thats why people get upset on these diets as they see themselfs at their goal but the scales dont budge much so they give up, and add more lbs later.

you can follow any diet you wish but you need to takle 2 main elements in the first few weeks of a diet, CANDIDA and HYPOGLYCIMIA, if you research CANDIDA and how to takle it in the first instance of a diet and keep the prevention part going it will ake your diet more easier.

my partner is on a diet and she is tackling candida its her first week on her new diet, just by tackling candida this week she has lost 7lbs.

I am sure there is a lot of truth in what you are saying as on all dits I have followed - I have lost weight and promptly put it back on later.

Nobody can be reasonably expected to exercise for 2-4 hours per day, we all have our normal day to day thingys to do so this is simply impossible.

Will have a look at candida and hypoglycimia as always curious about things, thanks.

its best not to eat any processed foods such as cheap sausages micorwave meals etc their packed full of salts and sweetners and sugars. may not believe this but sugar is just as addictive as heroin! its used in food to make them taste better so we go back to them over and over again.

Personally I never have any "ready meals" - I cook from scratch so I know what goes into my food.

But - why are you here? What diet do YOU follow?

exactly the normal person has commitments other than excersize throughout the day such as work and kids houselife.

my partner is not on a cal count diet and as us bothe having 3 kids 1 with ADHD, there not wnough hours in the day, what my partner does is casual excersize, most of her diet is eating adjustments. eating things at regular intervals each day, NO SUGAR AT ALL not even sweetners no prcessed meats or foods, potato's or mushrooms, you can have the ocasional chineese but choose carefully on what you select, like opting for a stir fry wich is the healthier option.
