So you're going for 4 litres! Jeez, I couldn't do that even in summer! I think that's the reason your weight's gone up too much water in your body lol
I'm off for breakfast now, think I'm going to have some sort of eggs...0 -
No water today at all, zero....
Cleaned up the flat (and believe me, with a large long haired dog and 6 cats that is a job/exercise), done the staircase (sweep/mop) and thinking of rethinking my tactics.
To be honest, after a while I find the Tesco's own powder (fake slim fast) very ermmmm gluey.... Like the latte taste but the consistency is horrible, custard lie, way too thick - and I have tried to put less, one scoop instead of 2 .. still... nahhhh
Slimfast chocolate is just great - unfortunately in a way as I tend to ermmm "forget" and have more
So my tactic from tomorrow will be:
Breakfast - porridge with apple or pear and some fat free yogurt with cinamon on top (instead of that latte tesco gluey thingy)
Lunch - some "healthy thingy" normal food
Evening - my fav SF chocolate shake to kill my chocolate cravingsssssss
Snacks
- got almonds which I leave in water overnight and they are lovely with the brown "skin" peeled off the following day, soft and yum yum...
- got crispbread/oat cakes/rice cakes.. having those with humus (love humus) or soft philadelphia type cheese
- got apples, pears, kiwis, tangerines, bananas, apricots
Love cous cous with red or green pesto - may be having it for lunch with a bit of fish or chicken... hmmmm
Got to find something that works for me...
Lipotrim and Lighterlife and Cambridge shakes were not that gluey kind of consistency - tesco is crap to be honest.... hmmm0 -
Well today I did do a lot of walking around Camden, but the smell of take aways made me hungry for unhealthy-ness. Luckily I didn't get a take-away, but I did have one of those chicagotown pizzas and mccain oven chips. But if I can't have a Saturday treat what's the point lol. I still didn't drink alcohol or eat chocolate!
Tomorrow I'm going to the gym, then maybe a walk round central London with my camera to try and get some good London landmark pictures, if the weather allows.0 -
I had pizza today tooLuckily I didn't get a take-away, but I did have one of those chicagotown pizzas and mccain oven chips
But like you I figure if I can't have a Saturday treat then pffft!
I'd rather know in my mind on say friday or saturday night I can have a treat which will give me more willpower to ignore the 'eat pizzzzaaaaaa' voice in my head during the rest of the week:rotfl:
No alcohol, chocolate or other crap though. And pizza was the only thing I ate today. So I don't feel too bad. Lots of 'exercise' today in the form of tidying, shifting furniture, lifting things etc.
Family roast day tomorrow but got plenty of veggies and don't eat meat so should be easy enough.
Well done everyone almost a whole week over:j:j0 -
[whispers]
I had pizza on Friday night. But with goats' cheese, red peppers and olives. So almost healthy.
Saturday, one tea, two Marmite on toast - and a pint of Becks after I went out playing pool for the evening. I managed to walk through Chinatown without buying a single thing to eat!!!!!
Does playing pool count as exercise? If not, surely the walk to the pub and the station counts?

Yup, nearly a week now and we are all doing so well

Got up at 5am, no idea why - can not sleep any more so popped in here to have a look how is everyone doing......
Will make that porridge for breakfast today
Got to get a kitchen scale, had one but... daughter/s boyfriend put a hot spoon over it and broke the damn thing - it was one of those plastic ones, completely flat, electronic thingy - they got them in Tesco's for about £8.
Sharon - you in London??????
Well, will have to get you and Jojo and run you throught the woods with Zara LOL
Xoxo - where in the world are you?0 -
Ok, had an hour walk with the dog, cats had a run in the garden, then we all have breakfast, then cleaned the window (no idea why - extra exercise I guess) and now collpsing back to bed

Pumpkin curry here today.
And it is yummy.
So much so, the cats are going mental for plain pumpkin.
And lots of housework for a change. So that's the exercise for the day :rotfl:I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Just found this thread - I lost nearly three stone last year mainly through cutting out snacking and controlling (well usually halving!) my previously massive portion sizes! I am now trying to maintain and it's hard!
My shopping has been much cheaper - the cost of buying portions for one (single boil in the bag rice, pots of one serving philadelphia, baby wine bottles) is still cheaper than all the biscuits and ice cream I bought!
But now I can relax things a but I am starting to lose control!! Back to measuring and single servers!!
Good luck everyone0 -
I'm all the way down in Devon, GR

Pumpkin curry sounds interesting Jojo! And of course playing pool (you weren't just sat on your bum watching tv were you, you were moving about therefore exercise! :rotfl: ) and walking to the pub count
:j0
