Ok so... on my first day my scale was showing me the same as it was for the past several days.... (yes, every day - I am a saddo like that) 76.3kg
Then, 2 days into my new regime it suddenly was showing 75kg (!!!)
Today 75.8kg
Hate this scale, it is weight watchers one... electronic...
I may invest in a SIMPLY scale with a dial...... grrrrr0 -

Blame the scales. And don't forget things like water retention as part of your monthly cycle changes, as does (sorry if TMI) whether you had just been to the loo on time and not the next one.
I'm just not going there yet. Far too distressing to see it all lit up on a display. And I have to have steroids regularly, so there's extra shocks as a result of them.
Not hungry yet this evening. Probably because I'm not actually hungry anyway when I think I am, because usually I'm eating as a distraction from something else. Or the steroid injection I had today is already taking effect.
I've got a lentil dahl if I do get hungry - or basics soups - so I don't have to faff around cooking anyway. But I am surrounded by sleeping cats and can't get up because that'll disturb them far too much. So I'll have to wait until I'm hungry enough to disturb them anyway!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Another successful day :j
Brunch: Philadelphia on seeded toast for breakfast again
Dinner: Lettuce and cheese roll x 2
Snacks: 1 x apple, 1 x cheese twist from a bakery, probably have a biscuit later.
1.5L of water.
Plus 10 miles on exercise bike. Could have done a lot more, I know, but it's been a busy day today. The 'MyFitnessPal' app on my phone says I still have 485 calories I can eat today  Can't see me managing anywhere near that i'm stuffed! :rotfl: It told me off for not eating enough yesterday
Being told off by my phone was certainly a low point in my life! :j0 -
So I weighed myself, I went from
11 stone 1.4 pounds to 10 stone 13.8! So 1.6lbs down, and that's without starting my food changes until yesterday, must be the post Christmas, as we all overeat at Christmas, so body weight was adjusting to going back down lol.
Today I had
The rest of the Weetos with skimmed milk (bought Weetabix now, no more chocolate cereal)
Ham, peperoni and cheesespread sandwich for lunch on nimble sized wholewheat bread.
1x plum (free courtesy of work)
Sweet and sour chicken with veg and extra, fresh pineapple.
I have sugar free jelly in the fridge a snack should I get hungry!
I managed to resist the lure of free biscuits, chocolates, cans of coke at work today. See if I can do that on Tuesday as well lol.0 -
Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww - well done everyone.. so proud of all of you

Another crazy day today and almost no water.. I am bad with water
Forgot my pedometer but I believe around 12000 steps which in my case make no difference anyway as this is my normal day....so no exercise really.
Breakfast/lunch shakes, dinner - just had some cous cous with green pesto an a bit of boiled salmon - trying to fight 6 cats and a dog with both elbows....
According to Paul McKenna (I can make you thin) one has to eat very slowly, chewing each mouthful for a long time and putting the cutlery down between each mouthfull - yeah rite.. not in my place one can not LOL0 -
Was tempted with one of my biggest down falls today... the friday bacon buttie run at work...... the guy nearly fainted when i said nope not this year when he was taking the orders.
Saved me £2.50 (for more fresh veg and fruit) and Lbs too hopefully proper weigh in tomorrow (started new years day) so fingers crossed.
Congrats to everyone with their losses and keep in there gettingready.
Breakfast - Porridge with milk & an apple
lunch - Lasagna (HM from the freezer) with LO Carrots and Swede & mushrooms, & mash potatoes.
Dinner - 2 slices of Toast with garlic & herb philli & baked beans
Feeling stuffed and tracker says i still have 100 cals left to eat if i want. Off to go make myself a hot milk and settle in bed with a book.

Still can not FORCE myself to drink water and I know this is going to be a problem.... hmmmm
Have you tried freshly boiled water with a slice of lemon in it? I actually have aquired a taste for it and it does stop me snacking when I'm bored at night.0 -
Hot water with a slice of lemon is meant to help with weight loss - drunk in the morning.
I have a problem with drinking the recommended 2 litres per day
Home all weekend so will try and force myself....
Does not help that left my bottle on the bus today grrrrr One of those 1 litre ones with a top to drink from, what is that kind of top called?????
And only had one of those, was refillign it from my brita

Don't forget 2 litres a day doesn't solely have to come from drinking plain water, it comes from fruit, milk (aka your shakes) and veg. So 2 litres doesn't mean you need to drink 2 litres of water a day, just consume it in some form or another.0

Thanks I know I know but I had the best results if I was actually drinking 4 litres of pure water (in addition to my leaf black/red/green tea)...
I guess it is easier in the summer really...0
