Well, 5501 steps since this morning.. and off to the vet with my dog in a bit - and it is quite a walk....

2 milkshakes - one tesco latte and one slimfast chocolate, 1.5 litre of water, 1 small coffee (could not resist ONE), 1 banana , 2 tangerines.....

    How is everyone else doing?

    can I join in? :o

I find food really hard, I have a tiny freezer and so struggle with batch cooking to save for later because I have no where to put the results. I end up eating the same meal over and over until I am absolutely sick of it. Food seems so boring most of the time.

I have a (relatively) small income and so can't afford masses of fresh stuff and wouldn't be able to eat it before it all goes off even if I could afford it (IYSWIM).

I'm not up for shakes etc., I know they are not for me. I just want to make a concerted effort to re-learn healthy eating habits. I've been making an effort the last few days to really think about portion sizes etc.

    Hope everyone is well

Just got back home, it was not my normal level of activity day and the pedometer shows 15145 steps (!!!!) _ walked to/from vet, to/from GP, to/from Tesco etc etc

    So far had
2 milkshakes - one tesco latte and one slimfast chocolate, 1.5 litre of water, 1 small coffee (could not resist ONE), 1 banana , 2 tangerines.....

Trying to figure out what to have as my last meal of the day... got to check those tesco bags... cant remember what I got even, very tired.

Result with GP - got a referral for exercise (gym), no idea how long it is gonna take but hey.... free so..... ;)

Will be back - when I gigure out what to eat tonight, absolutely starving TBH....

And can NOT drink any more water yukkkkk too cold for water :(

    Hi all,

So doing ok I guess, overslept this morning (last day off before back to work though!) so didn't have breakfast.
Lunch - tom, mozzarella and pesto toastie
Tea - jacket pot with beans and 1 x veggie sausage

Went for a walk as well, though weather has been nasty today. Am feeling a little depressed by my new scales, finally got round to buying some digital ones - my old ones were a little temperamental and I did think they were a bit out but thought it was maybe half a stone. Turns out they are nearly 3 stone out so weigh much more then I thought I did :( Only consolation is that I didn't have them before I lost the 3 stone last year as if I'd known what weight I really was back then I'd probably have been slitting my wrists or something!

Podperson - not to worry, scales are weird thingys but at least now you have your starting point.... and you started well :)

Just got up, took the dog for a pee, on my first shake (latte), got a bit of running around today too but I doubt it will be over 15000 steps like it was yesterday....

So today, well I'm just about to register at the gym and then use the facilities. My housemate is also joining up, so won't be too scary. I'll let you know how it all goes.

I had a huge lunch - 2 small jacket potatoes (microwaved, no oil) with tuna and extra light mayo and a wee bit of cheese, but that was after walking over 2 miles to the job centre and back! lol.

dahl with spinach for lunch (yum), just made some 'ice cream' out of yoghurt which is currently setting in freezer so will have that for desert, just need to decide what I'm having for tea :)

Feeling v lazy today, need to get up and do something. Its just sooo cold that I just want to wrap up and sit on the couch and watch rubbish tv.
