Hmmmm they have some interesting flavours I have to say.......
Banana
Cafe Latte
Caramel
Chocolate
Crispy Chocolate Cereal Shake
Crispy Vanilla Cereal Shake
Hazelnut
Strawberry
Summer Fruits
Vanilla
But with shakes at 130 cal each and at 3 per day that is only 390 mcal per day - that is way lower than 500cal per day on CD or Lipotrim....
How Many Items Per Day?
There are two different programmes you can use:
Female- 3 Items Per Day 400 to 500 Calories + Multi-Vitamin & Mineral Required
- 4 Items Per Day 550 to 650 Calories
4 sachets per day come to £38.99 (Lipotrim £38, CD £40.99) so not reallu much difference apart from more choice of flavours....
AND there is also delivery charge so all adding up - from VLCS, LIpotrim is still the cheapest opsion....0 -
Paddypaws - found the GP thing - in my area it is this one:

Hi, all.
This may help some of you on a budget.
Slim fast milkshake powder in tins are all £3 in tesco, and BOGOF (£5.98) in Superdrug right now.
I will be stocking up, as I find Slim Fast is a good way of kick starting the weight loss. Once I start seeing results, it spurs me on. I know its not a permanent solution, but may help some of you."It's official, MSE's harbouring total fruitcakes">^..^<0 -
I am snagging mostly to watch this thread for tips!
I am a good cook and prefer to cook from scratch - shakes and snacks don't do it for me! My situation is I used to cook regularly for 2 to 8 people, however since break-up in August, moving house, starting college and shifts my food intake has not been great at times - often sporadic and whilst I started off underweight, due to previous illness earlier in the year, am finding am now slightly overweight and have a mild addiction to chocolate! I know I've been comfort eating, and Christmas sweets have not helped! Ideally I know I need to exercise more but finding hard to do with busy lifestyle, and creaky joints don't help!
I am moving again in 2 weeks time, and will be living with a friend from work but cooking mostly just for me so hoping to get into a more settled routine compared to where I am right now. I also have a new Weight watchers cook book which looks quite interesting..
I don't want to lose that much, just need routine where possible! How do other people cope eating around shifts? Also I am trying to save up for eventually my own property and will be skint most of January due to dentist bills and moving costs!I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

Hi hi hi new people - and sorry for my rambling about all over the place - just thinking alloud /)
Wowwwww, slimfast for £3, that IS brilliant......
Yes, tried that too of course before, loved the chocolate ones... absolutely loved those..... so yummy.......
and there is 12 servings in a tin so £3/12= £0.25 per serving (plus the cost of skimmed milk of course)
And they do latte and chocolate (my 2 fav) ready bottles too......hmmmmmm
Oh, that offer is only till 2/1/12 so... TOMORROW..... hmmmmmm0 -
Hello,
Not read the whole thread yet but am going to and would like to join you all,
Last year was a really tough year for me and through emotional eating and whatever else managed to gain about 3 stone.
Planning to lose it as quickly and cheaply and sensibly as possible by using/sharing tips on here, through taking inspiration from others and through a little bit of willpower that must be lurking here somewhere.
Using My Fitness Pal to count calories and the Wii Fit/games we already have for exercise. I was doing well until half an hour ago when the chocolates under the Christmas tree shouted my name! Still taken in few enough calories to result in a weight loss.

Helo new people - the point of this thread is that everyone can do a different thing and still share with others what they do, simple

Just looked at superdrug website, may order from them - free delivery over £25....0 -
Hi all,
Day 1 done, not too bad considering am trying to use up what's in the fridge/freezer before going shopping.
breakfast - one slice of toast with low fat spread
lunch - sandwich
tea - 2 x veggie sausages, 2 x croquettes, beans and mushrooms
Bit more bread then I would normally have (need to buy more cereal) but not much over 1000 cals and felt quite full so not really tempted to snack. Had wanted to start the shred again today but pulled a muscle in my shoulder a few days ago and still twinging a bit so decided not to risk it and hopefully will be ok for tomorrow.0 -
POdperson - woho.... someone has started already ... VERY proud of you

I am fighting with the Superdrug website, says buy one get one free but the discound does not kick in at the checkout stage...
Each time I add something to the basked a message comes out "dont forgrt to add the free item as well" but no instructions on HOW?
So my basket was showing over 60 when it should show just over 30 - and it was the final stage....
Never ordered anything from superdrug so really struggling with that website - I asumed if I order 2 it will authomatically charge for 1 as it is all on 2 for 1 offer...
Anyone got any advice?0 -
Ah.....
Please ensure you have also added the "Free" item into your basket for this offer. Mix and match cheapest items free.
Clever things they are - so when I wanted to order a mixture of powder boxes and bottles (singles, they do not do multi 6 bottles) - it was just taking a single bottle off as free... ha ha ha
So... would have to order ONLY the powdered boxed thingy to get a rea 2 for 1.... LOL0
