I'm literally crying laughing at the manner in which the rules are stated, thank you I needed that laugh, even got a smile from DP who is still dying after being to the dentist!
Boots, I went to Priceless shoes and got the shorter length ones when it comes to wellies, did buy the longer leg ones and they got stuck and wouldn't come off, so went and got some cool green ones (they do pink too) Evans do some fab boots with wider calf room, but of course can be pricey. One day I might be more organised...........

Tell you what else I have done a few times.. When I have heard them up to no good upstairs or in another room I'll shout them to come down and ask them what they were foing, they ALWAYS say 'nothing' .. So I tell them to put their hands over their eyes so they can't see.. and I shout .. 'CAN YOU HEAR ME??' Of course they say yes.. them I whisper 'can you hear me?' they again say yes.. so I say 'well, Just because I can't see you dones't mean I don't know EXACTLY what you are doing!! So you best stop before I catch you!' I then send them off again .. then about 30 seconds later I shout up.. 'and you can stop the silly faces and whispering rude things to me because I CAN hear you thinking!!'
Never fails!!

Not much flying here for a couple of days, we have all been laid up with head colds and generally feeling miserable, kids not impressed that we don't have snow older one wants to know why england has it and scotland doesn't when scotland is colder than england?? haven't the energy to give her an explanation.
List for today -
Done
WM, DW, BEDS, Hoovered main area
Hoping still to do
strip kids beds, bathroom quick wipe and ensuite thorough clean.
Also have bought ingredients to make bread for the first time so we may give this a try later.
Will aim to catch up over the weekend.
Pigpen loved your rules, I think I need to introduce the no food or drink other than kitchen and yes I too need to remind them that mothers do have ears and very good ones at that.0 -

Try explaining that we have to let them have some fun to compensate for not living in Scotland. :rotfl:0 -
I think I would like to join in on this as my house needs to be sorted and would so love to keep it all up together, rather than having to spend the whole weekend catching up, plus there always seems to be a huge pile of washing and ironing to do.
I did ds's room yesterday, so when in from work tonight I will attempt Monday's flylady and try to catch up with you all.
Wish me luck, I am very lazy in the evenings.Skint Mummy0 -
Felt so guilty I hadn't done anything today, that straight after my last post, got the hoover out, and did downstairs and upstairs before lunch!
Children's rooms also done; they have been pretty good about keeping them tidy since the blitz a couple of weeks ago.
One more load of washing to do, and the laundry bag will be empty, and as children have day off tomorrow, I've done all the uniforms.:D
The snow has almost all gone here, and we even had some sunshine about midday. At least DS1 and DD made their snowman before it all melted and I took photos. They were very pleased when the postman told them it was the best one he'd seen this morning!
Think I'll do some paper shuffling this afternoon, and also sort out all my course notes. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Hi skintmummy and welcome,
don't try to catch up unless you really have nothing else to do today! The rooms will come around again, so do today's list. It is in the first post.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
