elsien - you beat me to it - that was exactly what I was going to say!
If they're really wrinkly they'll probably be better for stews - I add them to chilli (meat or veggie) when they get to this stage, as they get so well cooked you can't tell they were past their best.Back after a very long break!0 -
As long as they are not mouldy, I use them in any cooking I would normally use them in. The only thing I wouldn't do with wrinkly peppers is use them raw...Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

I just managed to buy 12 green peppers for 12p in Tesco and I'm now after some chutney recipies! i have found one which is spicy - im giving these for christmas presents!

I have just picked 2 large carrier bags full of green sweet peppers, they wouldnt ripen and the plants were dying.
Has any one got any ideas what to do with them as I dont want to waste them? They are the long ones like Romano

You could try putting a ripe banana in bag for a few days and store in a cool place, this should help ripen them.
Don't think you'd want to freeze 2 bags full, but you could do some.
Freezing Bell or Sweet Peppers
