yeah defo - maybe its the companies fault. Ie. more internal communication . they separate the branches from the call centres
definately something that I selected on my CMI survey anyhow0 -
I opened my Halifax account in early Feb, I have paid £1,000 in Feb and March and sent my transfer forms in.
I heard nothing for over a month and then I've had a letter dated 3 April saying they are waiting for my bank to send a list of DD's and SO's.
Will I get my £100 after DD's have been transferred?Cashback earned
Quidco : £858
Pigsback : £20 and a Beatles CD.0 -
According to The Ts&C's on post #3, I'd say you should have it by end of this month, as point 5 says:TsAndCs wrote:5. The £100 switching payment will be paid into your new current account by the end of the month following the month in which you make your second payment of £1,000 into your account. The second £1,000 payment must be received by 30th September 2007.0

I've had the account for around three weeks now. I filled in a form at the branch giving authorisation to transfer my direct debits etc. I just received a letter asking me to send off the same form, plus another new one I haven't seen before! Oh well0

Yes - the process would be easier to do and a lot less hassle if we could just change the DDs and SOs ourselves instead of using their switching "service".0

That's what I said to the guy in the branch, but then he came back and told me I wouldn't have the £100 if I did it that way!0

You don't have to use their switching service - but then you wouldn't get the £1000 -
Well, I've been trying to open an account since the offer for the £100 opened.. but for the 3rd time I've received a letter saying they haven't 'received the correct authorisation to carry out the transfer' this is despite me sending all the forms they requested. Useless!
I think these are delaying tactics.. If I'm right all DD and SO need to be in place by the end of April in order to qualify for the money. At this rate the account won't be sorted for another 6 months!! :rotfl: In which case they can stick their £100 and naff account........£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190 -
no the dd's do not need to be in place then.
at this stage they have not contacted your bank, as for some reason the scanner is not picking up your forms and is re-sending them
give them a bell and the letters should stop0 -
buttlerfly72 - see my post http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=4676913&postcount=347 -same happened to me. The third letter was somehow triggered at the same time as the letter to my original bank requesting the details. maybe it's progressing for you too0
