Same question here - leave it off?0 -
I know in the branch the forms asks if you want to do dd's, credits, or both - just do dd's0

I'm self employed, so it doesn't apply. I just put my money comes in from various sources, or whatever it says.0 -

I have a Regular Saver with them, they didn't ask for any ID. I've done everything online, deposited the £100 once they told me the sort code etc. to put it in.0 -

Its the S in forms that annoys me.
By completing only one form (the ddebits/SO transfer form) and not returning a complete credit transfer agreement (for salary)... I am violating this condition.
I have sent back only a form... and not forms.
Maybe it is best to fill it in but put a line through it making it clear you do not want it to be actioned.
*shrug*. I want the accout anyway so I am not too fussed. I know I'll be able to shout at them in a few months time loud enough to get my £100 come what may. I'm a good complainer :rotfl:0 -
A friend applied in branch Saturday for the high interest account, received debit card yesterday.. Funny thing is the debit card says 'Halifax Ultimate Reward' which surely is for their new account to be launched monday 19th http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=365359
Anyone else received their card? does it also say ultimate reward??0 -

5. The £100 switching payment will be paid into your new current account by the end of the month following the month in which you make your second payment of £1,000 into your account. The second £1,000 payment must be received by 30th September 2007.
Therefore the earliest you can get the £100 presumably is end of April, if you pay in £1,000 in Feb & March.0 -

Not every emplpyer allows instructions in this way anyhow - eg forces , police
just don't worry about the salary - you are using the switching service for the dd's0 -

Thought it was just a mistake, I told them if you get billed, just mention it.. Don't know what the 'normal' Debit card looks like but I do like the Black and Silver 'Ultimate rewards' oneMaybe I'll pay the £10 just for the card
