Yes bobby-rae, otherwise you will not be using the switchign service and will not get the £1000

I didn't expect to hear anything from ATS team anyway - in the application process it states:
"Once you have received confirmation that your application has been successful, please <link to switching forms> complete the switching forms."
Which I was going to do by 30 April.
Has anyone rung up the ATS team yet after receiving the letter and doing the transfer - what do they say?0 -
you may do anyway miller as its standard letters that are sent out
remember the sooner the better for the process and the £100 - the £100 offer is a "pot" of money. It can be withdrawn at anytime, if the pot is used up0 -

a) the signed app form and ID check is completed
b) the overnight £100 has been done
It only causes confusion - as demonstrated in the thread.0 -
yeah in a way your right - the aats letter only comes if the application has been done on-line. it is only causing confusion with on-line applications, where you don't always get an instant decision
won't get the letter from branch apps as you do the atts form at the time.
but it acts as a reminder
some people apply for accounts and don't bother funding, even after credit score.(one reason they don't send out card, or start transfer until account credited) so its a reminder letter of the account0 -
I received my account transfer forms today but I can't make head nor tail of them!
The first form is an authorisation for them to get the details of my direct debits and standing orders from my old bank account BUT it has my new halifax account number in the Existing Bank Account details!
The second form is for them to contact my employer, do I have to let them contact my employer or will just switching DD's and SO's be sufficient for me to get the £100?
It has taken 2 weeks from applying online to get my debit card which arrived this morning.Cashback earned
Quidco : £858
Pigsback : £20 and a Beatles CD.0 -
you don;t have to let them contact your employer to get the £100, but to get the £100 you must fund the account with £1000 a month
Can't comment on your form, but at the top it should say the sort code and account number of new halifax account and then say the sort code and account number of your existing account that you want to transfer0 -

regularsaver1, would you mind just clarifying whether I'll definitely qualify for the £100.00 if I only have 2 x SO to switch, or do I need a DD to switch too?
I'm in the process of setting up a DD to come out of the A&L account I'm switching from but it won't be sanctioned for the first time until 20/3/07.
I'm worried that Halifax's "pot" is going to run dry!0 -
by switching standing orders you are still using the switching service, so yes0
