It's Monday.
Having a sick day off work...not that there's anything wrong with me...it's my interview today at 10am
A lot going on this week and my lovely mum is down on Friday for a visit for a few days, she's bringing goodies and new curtains
I'm aiming for a fair few NSD's this week too, I need to make up for last week.
Checked online banking and have duly updated my spreadsheet.
Need to check the survey sites today and get some more done.
Will update later x0 -
Good luck!! xSeptember 2016 GC £21.37/£1200

Thank you for all your good wishes, they helped me lots
Interview went well, was given an application form to fill in and return. Based on that I may be invited for a second interview (fingers crossed!) Positive vibes needed please.
Application form has been filled in and will be taken there tomorrow morning.
Not a lot else to report today...not a NSD but that's another matter.
Will update tomorrow x0 -

Good morning world!
Feeling very happy today, I've got a good feeling about the job, although the test does give me some worry.
Not going in to work again today, its a matter of principal...the woman I work with has masses of time off which leaves me on my own; which to be honest I don't mind as I can cope, she however cannot...petty I know but I don't care! See how she likes it when/if I leave
Besides I spoke to my mum last night and she is coming to visit on Thursday instead of Friday (a whole day earlier) and as I'm cleaning on Wednesday, I won't have chance to sort the house out before she arrives so today will be running errands and cleaning.
More change went in the respective pots, need to count the 20p's and bank them today.
Reminded DH that his expenses haven't gone in the bank yet so he'll chase them up for me later.
Just had to shout at the kids because they're arguing and shouting and winding each other up which in turn is winding me up! Blooming kids!!!
So today's chores look like this:
Take application form to company
Buy two birthday cards and send off to inlaws
Try and get a mop bucket
Clean upstairs
Sort dinner
Washing
Sort lunches for tomorrow
Right that should keep me going today, have a fab day everyone. xx0 -
Well a mixed morning already. Application handed in
and mop bucket found along with a few other cleaning bits we needed.
Forgot the cards, so will have to sort that before I get the kids from school.
Tyre had a blow out on the way home, so quick divert into the local garage, new tyre fitted...£81 lighter laterturned out to be a screw in the middle tread of the tyre that caused it to blow. The goodish news is that with the £9.99 that went in the account and the £15 in 20p's that I paid in this morning the new tyre hasn't cost us very much...bad but not as bad.
Washing up is soaking in the sink and can be left for a little while.
Spoke to my boss this morning and she told me that the area manager and someone from HR had been to see the lady I work with yesterday to discuss her absences...fingers crossed, I won't be left on my own again for a long time!!
DH has spoken to his boss about his expenses and got fobbed off, so now he's going to speak directly to the lady who does the expenses to find out when they're going to get paid.
Just having a cuppa, then off to clean the upstairs with War of the Worlds blasting0 -
Ah Wednesday, half way through the week and one step closer to half term
My mum comes to visit tomorrow, really looking forward to it, she might be a pain in the @rse some times but I do miss her
I have my cleaning job this morning, last one until after the half term, I really can't be bothered to go but I must do, it is £18 that can come in useful.
Finally got the cards sorted and sent off, so that's one less worry. BIL's birthday was on Monday and SIL's birthday is on Friday but at least they'll arrive.
My day today looks like this:
Cleaning job
Work
Tesco's for bits for dinner
Chemist
Wasing up
Washing to finish
Dump run
Sort dinner out - Chicken casserole tonight
Checked online banking and have updated the spreadsheet, I get paid tomorrow so that's not too bad, still no sign of DH's expenses so will have to remind him later to chase them up.
Off to get motivated, have a good day everyone x0 -
Hope all is well
And the visit from your Mum is going wellx
