Oh my, oh heck!! I heard from the MD of the company and he wants me to ring him tomorrow to make an appointment to see him to discuss the job. He sent me an email pointing out what the process involves inc a brief test to establish what I know (it's been years!).
Excited as I may have an interview!!!! EEEKKK!!!0 -
Fantastic news about the interview.0

Wooowooo go you!!
September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
Good morning lovelies,
Well yesterday ended up being quite exciting
I need to ring the MD at some point this morning...to be honest I'm very nervous about ringing and speaking to him, but I will do...I have to do! I need that interview, I need that job!
So on to the financial side of things, have checked online banking and done the necessary updates, so far so good if we behave.
I have my cleaning job this morning, so that's £18 earned; I need to nip to Tesco's for some bits so will use that for it.
My plan for today:
Ring the MD
Cleaning job
Work
Walk home from school with the kids this afternoon
Sort the books out!
Washing
Tesco's
Housework inc kids chores
Right off to get motivated, have a good day everyone and I'll update later xx0 -
Morning lovelies,
I didn't get chance to update yesterday due to various things going on.
Good news first: I have an interview at 10am on Monday :T I rang the MD and he seemed very interested in me...the interview is in 2 or 3 parts....so I really need to impress him and get the job
Bad news: My week has gone to pot, NSD's have ended up none existant but I have had low spend days and tried to resist over spending.
Paid the utility bill, so that's £80 gone. When I spoke to E:0n they said that there's another bill coming, I asked why they've started sending the bills monthly rather than quarterly and apparently I've to ring up and speak to someone to get it changed...so not impressed!
Checked online banking and that's okay, will update my spreadsheet once the bank have caught up.
Got a few errands to run today, I'm having my haircut this morning too so I look presentable for Monday
My plan for today looks like this:
Walk to school with the kids
Hairdressers
Work
Boots for Sudafed for DH and mouthwash for the kids
Washing
Wash up
Sort dinner out
DD has cookery club after school
Tesco's with DS for bits
Going to be mega busy, guess I'd better get started.
Have a good day everyone and I'll update later x0 -
Afternoon,
Feeling useless at the whole debt busting today, spent more time in Tesco's the past two days then what I do normally.
Need to get a grip!!!:mad:
Okay I need a plan of action for next week, my mum's down on Friday and I don't want to feel like I've not achieved anything.
I'm not at work on Monday/Tuesday. Monday I have my interview, so plan to use the time wisely by cleaning the house, walking with the kids, useful things; the rest of the week I need to avoid Tesco's lol.
I have today, done my list for next week including my meal plan and as far as I'm aware we've everything in so no real need to buy extra bits.
Next week will be better on the NSD's front!
I've a headache, so going to go take some tablets and make a start on the housework/cooking.0 -
Quick update time.
I've done a bit of tidying up so to speak and found I have £9.99 in an old bank account, this has been transferred over to the current account
I checked my other account and I had 35p in it and in DH's one he has 2p lol Suffice to say, these ones weren't transferred over.
I tried to check my Principality account but couldn't log on and got locked out so will ring them on Monday to reset my password.
I'm going to count up my 20p's and bank them Monday afternoon. These will go towards the credit card, I think there's about £10 in there so I may round up the £9.99 and pay an extra £20 off the CC instead.
Got another unexpected bill through the post today, so I've paid that. That's one less thing on my mind.
Keeping a close eye on the bank account, so far so good and that's without my wage or DH's expenses gone in yet.
My Aim next week is to have lots of NSD's
ETA: Just logged back on to One Poll and found £18.35! Time I think to restart on that one.
ETA 2: Checked on Valued Opinions and I've £6.50! Getting better all the time. Wonder what the other ones have?!?0 -
Hi, well done on finding the old bank account, every little bit helps.
I'm trying to keep motivated wth onepoll, its worth it in the end, just seems to take forever to get to payout.0 -
I've not done the survey sites for 2 years and forgot how long they take. Oh hum...will see how it goes lol x0

Happy Sunday,
After checking the survey sites, I've rejoined maximiles and also have the app on my phone so I can do surveys on there.
I no longer understand Pigsback, it used to be easy to collect points now I'm not sure how to get points?!? Think I'll give it a miss.
So survey sites that I'm using are as follows: Valued Opinions, Maximiles, You Gov and One Poll; I'm sure that there's another one but I can't remember what it's called...still these should keep me going for a while and will hopefully help with the finances.
Next year, I'm going to save the £2 coins again.0
