You said "throw out", not "chucking the pensioner out of the door, over the step and down onto the pavement outside".

I said "abusive" - not just using bad language

So you're spouting rubbish and creating straw man arguements. Rather than making a point, you're making yourself look foolish.

Little point in ejecting him if you let him straight back in. Especially if you have already given him his stick back.

So, you can "throw out a pensioner", but you can't chuck him out of the door, off the step, and onto the platform, sorry pavement.
    Fair enough.
But if he was abusive would it be ok then?

Or is it really only ok with chavs at the end of the day.

Come on guys, stop bickering. The ned(Chav) was in the wrong. The guy that ejected him was a bit rough too, so in the wrong. Conductor could have handled it better, training issue.
The big guy did initially use reasonable force, but then it became a scuffle and his force increased in parallel to the ned's resistance.
    He could have done better.
I have diffused many similar situations in the past, including 2 ned's with a knife who had just attacked and slashed another chap. Turned out the victim, who was lucky I was passing as they were jumping on his head at the time, was a few years older than me and bullied me a bit when I was a boy. Met him in asda and then at court and he was very appreciative.

I have to agree with you,
    The conductor was at fault.
Inciting other passengers to get involved, and condoning violence is definately a no no.
I don't like bad language. The student was wrong.
And it's never ok to lay a hand on someone, except in self defense.
"Big man" was way out of order.
If you don't respect the youth, why should they be different?
Teach the kids respect, not teach them it's ok to beat on someone.
Ultimately though, the conductor was the one at fault. Incitoing a mob to beat on anyone goes outside any civilisation I want to be a part of, if it comes down to education, or fear, I'd go for education any day.
Make fear the driver and you're back into the middle ages.
It's a bit sad we're that fast to get there.

It was indeed a very unfortunate incident:(

made worse by the fact that at the time the chav was thrown out the train, it wasn't traveling at speed, oh well, I'm sure he will return, so we live in hope :D

    Seriously, you want him killed?

By someone else obviously, you wouldn't want to do it yourself?

I think you need to stop smoking that crack pipe as it is seriously affecting your judgement. First you hint that I am a fare dodger and now you ramble on about baying mobs. Stop before your brain is completely addled.

    No.
I said you would be happy to be a sheep, and be swept up as part of a baying mob. As for judgement, you appear to be happy to be swept along with whatever view is popular.
