How late would that have made a train full of passengers (and trains further down the line) while waiting for the policeman to turn up, only for him to eventually (in all probability) end up using as much, or more, force to remove the bas.., err, young man anyway?
As for 'smashed to the ground' - pur-lease.
Although given the sorry state of the affairs at the moment it wouldn't surprise me if I end up reading about a compensation claim for 'emotional trauma' in the not too distant future...
near the end the thug clearly picks up the guy and throws him hard in to the ground you can quite clearly hear the crack as he hits the ground with a thud
a ten minute wait compared to a lawsuit which is gonna be the likely outcomeReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. the guy picks him up and smashes him in to the ground
like a rugby tackle an england player got red carded for in the recent world cup
but this was done with force unlike the rugby tackle
right where the little box pops up with boom dont mess with the big man theres a loud crack where the train dodger is thrown in to the groundReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. Sadly the little toad (desperate to be "famous" for anything) is pointing people to the video on his twatter page. If he wishes his ticket stamped more often, feel free to publish more details online, there's plenty sick of this moronic, never been anywhere, never done anything, selfish type to oblige.0

Yes it did.
The lad deserved it.
Unfortunately there is an attitude in the UK where some teenagers, particularly if they are with their friends, think they can be as rude, obnoxious and obstructive as they like to people particularly if they preceive that person as weaker than them.
Getting thrown of the train now by a large stranger will be better than in a years time being taken to court for fare evasion.
And it does happen.
Or, the lesson could well be if you (and the group of mates) decide you're right, you can rough someone up a bit if they don't agree.
If it's someone weaker that is.
Wonder if the big man would have got up if it hadn't been a 19 year old kid?
Or if the conductor would have encouraged him on if it was a 80 year old pensioner without a ticket?0 -

Had he been thrown off the train 'with a thud' the first time, then I might have a modicombe of sympathy. As it was though he twice made physical contact with people while trying to re-board the train.
Moral: He shouldn't have tried, twice, to get back on a train he wasn't entitled to be on.0 -
So, guilty as charged then.
We all know he definately had no ticket, inspector hadn't made a mistake, the kid hadn't passed over the wrong half of the return trip ticket, no appeal, no penalty fare, just summary execution.
Let's roll out more on the spot fines to motorists. Confiscation of the car, and you're dumped in the street in you can't pay on the spot, or even better a night in the cells.
I like the look of those big communal american ones as well, not a nice private one.
While we're on it, let's let traffic wardens have the same powers to dispense justice as well.0 -

Don't have that much of a problem with it to be honest. If that is assault, every bouncer in the land will be in jail soon mind you.
The student should have dealt with it in a mature manner, offering to pay, explaining there must have been a mistake, but is just swearing and acting like a complete idiot. I've seen similar non payment, wrong ticket etc on trains, totally defused by people acting rationally and offering the fare or a decent explanation.
Waiting on the BTP yeah that will happen, we'll leave a train blocking the line for 90mins whilst they try and get there. Nah the train would have moved on to the next stop and he'd have got his free hurl.
To be honest getting chucked off is probably the best course of action for him, as if the BTP had got there, if they didn't just do that for an easy life and charged him with numerous byelaw breaches he'd not be feeling as clever.
Old saying in Glasgow was c'mon get aff, and the conductors and drivers on buses and trains enforced it rigorously. Of course this was back in the day when 1. The employees was backed up against wee idiots by passengers and employers, 2. folk weren't scared of law suits or police taking things further because most of the time the police just told these wee idiots they deserved it.
Some of the stories are absolutely tremendous actually on being a conductor on Glasgow Corporation. Depending which part of the city you offended you could change to being clearly a catholic or protestant! However they are very, very timid compared to this!0
