    It's 23c in the lounge and I can't sleep ...

and I was so tired from all the prn meds I slept all yesterday so I could well be up all tonight

And my gospel for asia payment wouldn't go through so I've set up a standing order for Baroness Cox's charity instead :). M recommends it :)....but would have rather given to GFA and like sponsored a child or a missionary. I don't know what I did wrong with the GFA payment. It just didn't like me :(

So yeah....I'm keeping miggy hours LOL

Oh no! To the miggy hours anyway... not nice for you. And the heat. The rest of it sounds okay. :)

    Hi Erme,

Sorry to hear it's too hot to sleep! I've been feeling the same. It doesn't make you feel so good inside either, when you're in need of sleep. I'm really struggling at work.

I'm also sorry about the negative effect your family are having on you. Miggy's advice is excellent though. Also come on here when they get to you and update your diary and you'll soon get more support to help you through.

    Have a good day.

    Hi all...

    I had a fab day yesterday :j

Thanks for everyone's prayers (including people that lurk but don't post)...

I finally think I'm coming out of this relapse :D

Met up with L who is leaving for the Isle of Man next week and had a fab lunch and then went to L* for washing powder (at £7 a pop for about 64 washes it's worth it and it's very good washing powder) and then she took me in the car to Mr A and mr Al for groceries and scaffolding. I got 2 pieces of scaffolding for £8. Okay so the sports scaffolding makes me bop all over the place but I really couldn't afford the £7 for two and come the end of September I should have another M+S voucher from the Uni for service user involvement so it can wait till then :D (or even next fortnight :))

And I've gone down in size so I'm obviously doing something right though what exactly I don't know. Not by much (I remember the days when I used to get measured every 6 months and it was down 2 sizes on the chest and like one in cup LOL. Imagine MT...wearing something that badly fitting :rotfl:...Men need not apply to do this scaffolding or even fix it:D)....

L couldn't understand why I trapsed her half way across the carpark for milk (from Mr. A to Mr Al) till I said it was 15p cheaper :D and was flabbergasted when I found liver in Mr A for 41p. Bearing in mind it's kind of like 99p in Mr S you can see the difference. I don't care where it comes from. All I know is that it's good for me and like it tastes yum and will last two meals. I didn't know about it till I was at mr M one week at the checkout and I noticed someone with it and thought 'that's a good price for meat!!!'.

Liver is deffo frugal :j...even from the supermarket. :) And with tatties it's yum.

I complained about the neeps over lunch (he did ask us if everything was okay?) but no money back. So watery and not at all nice. But the haggis was good as was the mash :). Note to self to take Ma then when she visits :D. Very good pub just by the river (no river view but easy to get to and quiet mid week and you can get two meals for £12 and on the bus route for the country too).

Sorry for long post. I need sleep ...I have to be up at 7 at the latest for the drop in in the am then volunteering and like then on Thursday I have to be up at 5 to go jogging pre Dr. C at 9.30 (middle of night appt methinks :rotfl)

I forgot to say I also got an audio bible from the introductory offer on audible.co.uk which sounds okay though I might need to get another at some point (the eric one) and I upgraded Mac OS X last night (middle of night) though the rate mac OS X is going I can see me expanding linux on virtual box. It's just crashing all the time and whilst mac's are good I want my mac to last another 30 months at least!!!

You are one busy lady! Well done on the size down, that's a nice feeling. :) BTW if you are in reach of Pr1mark, you might get your sports scaffolding there?

Liver - Mr T does tubs of frozen chicken liver for about 50p. This is what I do with it (in addition to the liver and bacon I've just posted on Muffy's thread):

Fry some carrots and onions till soft, add smoked bacon and half a tub of liver, chopped up. When it's cooked a bit, add sage and a tin of chopped tomatoes. Add a dash of Lea and Perrins if you like it. Serve with mash or baked potatoes or cous cous. Real 'comfort food', low fat if you are careful with the frying stage and very good for you!

I am so sorry I've not been online past few days. Had a real bad appt with Dr. C - he didn't use his magic powers :(. Saved by Mr G and Dr. I who have prayed for me and given me extra meds else I'd been sleeping in the woods tonight

Anyhow just enjoying another thing of being debt free :). Mr S the coffee place. How civilised :D....

Smoked a bit yesterday but then the bobby who came over when unwell swiped my tobacco so nothing lost there.

    Have a good day folks

    Morning all...Not sleeping with stress...please pray :A

More family probs...Just about every insult (well quite a few - at least 3) in the book when I said about how she was stressing me out by going away to DS's on Wednesday then going away the weekend after.

DS doesn't even reply to my heart to heart texts so I don't know if she reads them or not :(...DM just changes the subject. I won't bore you with the details bar am very stressed and not sleeping and have taken the dressing off the SI and like pulled the blister off and like now it's very sore.

I have GP tomorrow so hopefully she can use her magic powers to get me back on the right track...

Boy primark have some good sports bras - thanks miggy. Sizes even smaller than Mr. A (I know what size I am and it's not that size ) but still. Got a high impact (no bopping) for £8..they have low impact for £4 but I figure they don't hold you in for jogging so like I just didn't bother. More like glorified boob squashers... If I want a boob squasher I want a decent one :D...

So yeah you have a choice girls for decent sports bra - M+S (right size) for £20 or like if you are losing weight and don't want to pay too much - Primark for £8 :D

Alas the PJ packs are upto £8 which I don't need right now so will go without...we'll see about the winter...Might need them then :) But they do have some lovely grandad shirt night shirts for £8 so might get those or a jump suit like they had in last year :)

Also my local ones have jeans in for £5 but they are too low on the waist. Having just started to wear jeans after years of not I'm very fussy :)

Sorry to hear you're having family problems Erme. :( Sounds as though they may have stuff going on? Maybe DS needs time to process your texts? Hope it sorts out though. Sometimes people need more time.

Glad the Pr1mark hint was useful! We will end up there today looking for duvet covers - DD needs a different size for uni than we have here. I don't doubt we'll look at/ buy other things too. :D Those all-in-one pjs were so popular last year that I'd be surprised if they're not in again.

    One question....

Why do Primark have undersized Bras yet not undersized PJ's....?

When I was a size 8 I had to get kiddies PJ's cos the other ones just didnt' fit...seems like a size 6-8 or even 4-6 PJ in Primark is nowhere to be found

They even have size 6 jeans? I mean c'mon primark

Morning all...sorry I've not been online for a few days ...blessings.

Bit worried about the cost of food going up and up :(...but still...

I have an infection on my arm from the self injury I did post Dr.C (hence the bobbies came round)...still to bin my iron (don't need it...using the dryers downstairs).....It's not painful anymore but I'm on 2 lots of penicillin...

Jog went well yesterday though I blew the diet yesterday as like I had a burger king (double rodeo) then like cheese at night when so tired. I was surprised to lose anything (I lose a lot first few weeks of a diet then it plateaus). So far I've lost about 4lbs this week so so (maybe 5 not sure. I weighed self after already starting the diet on Monday. Sure it was way over 83kg first thing monday morning. It's now just over 80kg - you do the maths :D)

And I bought windows 7 to improve chatting experience on like virtual box (it currently has windows xp) yesterday but it needs 2gb of ram and that's my whole mac ram  So that'll be interesting. I'm hoping I can get away with just over a gb but still. I put office on it I had spare (trying to improve fonts in chat...won't use the office. Have it for mac :)) and I had a nightmare with ram on it. It's now just over 1gb ram...that's enough with my limitations unless I can increase the ram on the macbook. I don't know how to so it'll be a trip down the apple store I think. I don't want to play with the insides of my mac - unless DD can do it :)...I want this mac to last a bit longer :D. I've had it less than 2 years!!! If not I shall have to pay £12 for like student card asap to get a new mac @ student rate with as much ram as I can get my mitts on :D.

On the positives I got a solid pine coffee table from the charity shop yesterday for £6 and now I'm away to phone up east coast to find out when to book my ticket for holidays at New Year (DM's - she'd better behave and like DS better not be there for too long as the whole time revolves around here otherwise ). The reality is is that DM is liable to be a depressive and moan the whole time and that's going to do my head in with the stress and exhaustion but what can you do. I suppose if DS isn't there that'll help somewhat :)

Anyhow off to take penicillin pre lunch :)
