Like missing kirk tonight (that I really wanted to go to) cos by the time 6.45pm turned round (latest I can go to kirk) I was too tired..
Right now I'm too tired to do much so will finally get my wee nap....
This week has been interesting ...
No menu plan, no food shop and a huge whoopsie (to the tune of £20 when I have a misc & food budget of £30)..
Only thing that has been good is that I passed my word 2003 on my ECDL this week - but that meant forgoing the food shop. And whilst the food shop is such a chore (chore being the operative word)...best to have food in than not...:)
Somehow even my supply of SOS lentils is diminishing rapidly and with only £3 to my name till Tuesday (due to the whoopsie) and needing milk milk wins over lentils. With milk and a few other things like flour I can do 101 wonders...without milk I have a very sore stomach and black stool....Simple...
Och what else is there to say? Yeah I have severe and enduring MH probs (so stuff like conspiracy talk should cause you to be concerned or accusing you falsely)...bad hormones and like depression. I also have two pet rats I adopted off freecycle the other month whom I love to bits but they are getting on a bit (2 in February) and like one has tumours. When it mucks up his eating majorly I'll take him to the vets and get him put down. But not right now...with all my imminent stress I can't bear it . He's my favourite (and a right character though not the most intelligent one)...always good for a cuddle
When I'm sick I can't even cross a road never mind do a spreadsheet. Hence sometimes I have big impulsive whoopsies. Please don't judge me for them. I love the debt snowball (http://www.whatsthecost.com) and believe that people on benefits who are getting their income cut should have foreseen it years ago and sorted out their finances then not bleat now they have 101 debts and only £68 a week to live on.
I'm fortunate in that I should be debt free this year. In fact one debt should be clear in about 2 weeks or so DV (God willing. Yeah I forgot to say I'm not like most other DFW's in believing in Karma or the great Universe. It's Christ and Christ alone who has gotten me thus far. At 21 I had death as a prognosis. I'm still alive almost 15 years later
. I have Christ to thank for that.).
So yeah. If you are a christian or wannabe christian then subscribe or leave a comment (or if you're just a kind soul who appreciates I'm berating myself to a pulp right now)..
I'm also on the e-cig - very fancy piece of kit. Not like the stuff you see in tescos or the IWOOT shops. No cartridges that you buy prefilled. Just a tank and a cartridge with a hole in it made with a nail. I like to think I know a lot about e-cigs having tried a variable voltage and some 3 hour vape jobbies (i.e the batteries only lasted 3 hours before needing a recharge). I vape average...about 3-4ml a day. It's a moderate vape. I know someone who vapes 10-15ml a day - but that's extreme. Yeah there are pitfalls like nicotine overdose(if you spill too much on your hands. I love spreadsheets and baby wipes
) but so far I've only had one and survived:D.
So I think that's me...nap time now and like if I keep starving myself I'll be weighing like trouper ..not positive...

Hey! Shiny new diary - wooooo! :T:T:TSo yeah. If you are a christian or wannabe christian then subscribe or leave a comment (or if you're just a kind soul who appreciates I'm berating myself to a pulp right now)..
You may have noticed there are quite a few Christians around so you will get support in 'our language' if they find you
and there are also some great people of various other beliefs who will offer support in their own terms - and I have to say there are some top people among them.
You have so much going on... but it sounds as though you can prioritise (go get that milk). Keep making one step at a time.

Well done on starting a diary. I am sure you will finds lots of support here. I hope you also have support in real life too?
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

thanks guys...hardly expected anyone to leave comments...LOL....
I got the milk and my 'treat' for today - a doughnut. I figure I will make do without the shaft for my food processor (that you put the grating disk on) and just chop up my carrots then put them through the main blade for now till Savings are healthier. Problem sorted...
Also when I have some spare monies (february at the earliest I reckon) I want to get so CISS cartridges for my printer as that will stop the problem of like leaking and overfilling. I don't know about this argument of specialized ink v universal. Unless you're doing really fancy photos (which I could be) I really don't see the prob..I mean ink is ink. And there's no way I'm paying £10 per bottle for 250ml of ink......though might well pay £5 for 60ml ...should last a while. Still only £20 for loads of inkBut no rush needed right now..
Anyhow baking this morning for someone (food processor to the rescue) so best get going...
Hugs
E
PS. Miggy ...I think I'm now upto about page 18 or 19 of your diary...trying to read about 10 pages a day right now LOL...Just on the wee debate about religion on it after the musical instrument debate...boy you have some good discussions on your page...e

Evening all...
Am a lot better than the weekend despite the doom and gloom of it getting dark and gloomy about 3pm...
Maybe this was caused by a lovely visit to the GP (see my post on Lisawater's cowboy builders thread) and like eating properly...
Eating properly - even on a budget is not rocket science yet so important. Now I know (now I'm getting on my soapbox) a chap just round the corner from me - who lives in a flat where he's so paranoid (ground floor - things he has things worth stealing - I beg to differ!!!) that he has thick blinds that stay shut 24/7....And artificial light. Dread to think what that does to him...
And don't get me on about his eating and budgeting. His eating basically consists of high carb, high protein (note no veggies) often processed snacks. Refuses to get the bargains from the new Mr. S at the corner because 'they have self service tills which does someone out of a job' ...well like did you apply for one there when they opened? Er no!!!
This is just one of his many PD quirks (personality trait).....which means he can't live on his ESA (appeal rate) so is now applying for DLA (but DLA won't help him budget )....as for his debt - he has the bank of Dad....say no more...it's over triple of mine and he's still applying for CC's but where does the money go? I don't know. He bought his flat like just before they renovated it....so he has no decent kitchen, no decent bathroom and no money to do it up....so he can't sell it....Daft or what?
Have I ranted enough? He'll die a premature debt ridden death of cancer....simple...berates me for the slightest overspend (doesn't even menu plan  - remember the one week I didn't menu plan - barely ate!!!)...and wait till I'm hormonal and you'll hear loads about it (more of the wheel. I should become a goldfish...Maybe I am a goldfish - a typing goldfish - hmmm...that needs an email to R4)
I'm really pleased that the GP visit went well cos I was lousy at the psych hospital last week and Dr. C (the leg end) was stressed so he looked like he'd been pulled through a hedge backwards and I promptly sent an email round his colleagues (email addies are far more powerful than the double edged razor blade self harmers...I know) stating he had till today to get his hair sorted else I would be crocheting him a head band in bright green baby wool :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:....I think he got it sorted...
But for some reason I was half full of the conspiracy on Friday and he wasn't happy....Now I have way of rationalising the conspiracy (everyone has to die sometime in a nutshell. Death is not the prob - but where you spend eternity) but then I fear going to Hell which has it's own probs...
Only one wee impulse to go out the window so far tonight (I live in a high rise this is not wise) and none in the bedroom hardly for a few days so optimistic (spent friday night in the hall was so stressed and had the impulses and just wanted to be cocooned. I figured it was safer than fighting for too long) and obviously I managed to rationalise the window impulse (I could never live in a high up penthouse with windows down to the floor) but gorgeous sunrise this morning over the west which looked gorgeous. Shame about the safety glass...would have made a good photo :T (I live in the east part of the block) and like yeah....
Nasal spray (NRT) reduction is going well though hoped not to have my evening dose till 8pm and had to have it at 6.30 which was about 12 hours after my dose this am. Was hoping to go without it for longer but still....Better than 5 doses a day which is was for a week or two...DV (god willing) I'll be able to knock it on the head soon (stress depending I guess) and go 100% e-cig...
Och and giro day tomorrow :j..Okay so I only have a budget of about £30 for misc and groceries per week but still.... Debts will get snowballed...

Okay quick bump up and I now have garlic potato (eaten about 3 hours ago) repeating on me :rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:
Sure there is a great thrift tip in all this......but yet to think of it...
How not to find a marriage partner and get all their debt perhaps?
Any other offers?
E
PS. I guess it could be worse...vindaloo potato anyone? tee hee:dance:

Ha ha - I'm guessing the marriage partner will be neither the chap behind the blinds downstairs nor poor Dr C. who is now having to do without his bright green headband!
Glad the visit to the GP went well, and :T:T:T for getting so far with my diary.Yes, that was quite a debate, I think we got ourselves a bit confused.
Some time later you will see I also have a thing about eating properly, not that I always do but it makes a difference to whether I have enough get up and go.
Stay this side of the window hun... it's a stormy night out there and we need to know you are tucked up warm and cosy.
And your name has defeated me - I tried Googling 'Is Mise Erme' and got nowhere. Please tell!Miggy
